Lol @ "a potential dream team"... people seem to forget that J-Will and Walker have both formerly been nightmares, but still. I don't really care about the overall rating, completely irrelevant.

Everyones going on and on about how tough the Heat will be... Yeah they're tough, but they already were very good. I don't know if this team will be any better than that. And Walker and Williams being problem children could all just mess it up for them. If those guys are unhappy, then the team won't be as good as it was last year. They had some very good under appreciated shooters on that team last season who really were the why and how Shaq and Dwayne could get the room they had...

New Jersey has made the biggest splash during the summer though... They only got Shareef Abdur-Rahim... Don't forget they already have three all-stars on that roster and now they added a primetime inside threat to the mix... With Richard Jefferson and Vince Carter flying around and Kidd handing them the ball combined with a good inside player like Shareef is a total matchup nightmare... If they can land some decent bench players, this is the team to watch... I'm talking 60 wins and high flying offense all around... Jason Kidd is almost a lock to win the passing game...

There's always that chemistry stuff... If it works, it will be so beautiful, but if it does not work, it will all come crashing down... And one season ending injury to one key pleyer can bring it down as well. It's all up in the air and it all looks great now... I'm sure both of these teams will be going for the eastern conference win, but who knows at this point???

team of ballhogs = good in nba live maybe (if EA keeps the jacking up 3 pointers as a viable strategy, then they will lose probably their 2 best players in that department -they gave up eddy and are about to let damon go-).

i'm looking forward too see how jwill and toine are going to play without the ball and how they will react at beeing second to last options.

just one fact to show you:

lebron + wade + melo + AI + amare + duncan + marion + marbury + odom + jefferson + okafor .................. = BRONZE.

I would assume the Heat will be one of the best rated teams in NBA Live 06, given the lineup they're likely to boast this season.

I don't think this is a dream team at all even though they got 3 good players from the trade. Dream Team means professional basketball players with strong experience about the game, like the 92 and 96 US team for example. They are all allstars players with professional skills. Miami Heat now needs to work out their new chemistry, if they can do that, then they will be a title contender. Now, we will have to wait to see if they can make it to the finals and win the title.

people are likely to say 'JWill & Walker are horrible', 'JWill + Walker = turnovers'...
in real life: no comment...
but in the game, why are we worry so much? we have the 'control'.
turnover or not, most of it, it comes from us ourselves.

and no doubt, the heat will have a better rating than few years back.

I'm surprised to see no mention of James Posey, yet. He will be a huge factor off the bench. I'm not sure how it will go down with Toine' and JWill, but I know Posey will help.

True. But I worried about how much playing time each star gets because team chemistry will tell their future.

I made the trade in Live 05 and yes, Miami were pretty cheaty (is that even a word?). Just drive with Wade or post with Shaq then kick the ball out to Williams, Walker and D. Jones. An easy basket or a three every time. Kinda boring..

thats not really the point in this thread. people keep getting confused when someone asks how good the heat will be in nba live. who cares what the real heat do, in the game they are gonna be damn good. they could list walker or posey as the starter and it wont matter. the player can easily change it to suit them. hell maybe they will both start for the player and wade will be the point.

after a few months you find out how to score without too much trouble and every team will be unstoppable if you're a good player. I started a hawks dynasty recently, with andrew's sliders on superstar and i'm 10-1 atm... winning by an average of 9.6 points.

Easy with the dream team part. 2003 was considered a "Dream Team" with all the all-stars but conflicts went on and team not working together.
