NCAA March Madness 06 > NBA LIVE 06? (gameplay wise)

I just read about the "lockdown stick" and saw the video on IGN. It seems amazing and that is what I would want.

Playing defense has lot of depth in that game too and it is more than just being able to get steals from all angles. Having a Bruce Bowen in that game would actually mean more than an outside shooter with a 55 overall rating. You can call plays from the "floor general controls" and create trapping zones for the offensive players.

I read one article and saw one video and I already like more than whatever EA has shown with his flashy and questionable superstar moves which allow you to dunk on anyone.

no. the defense on March Madness '06 looks unrealistic as can be. i can see it now.. every team in college playin defense like the Spurs/Pistons Except FULL COURT. its a disgrace no team plays THAT great of defense in college as i saw in the videos. but oh well. maybe the game is for you thats just my opinion.. i can guess it will have way too many turnovers like last years game which was horrible.

But they did mention that you can only play that kind of defense if your player is good enough defensively or else he'll get burned. Of course there are downsides to playing that kind of trap defense. If you are able to pass to your teammate out of double teams, then it is going to be an easy basket.

I prefer that over whatever I saw in the Live 06 videos so far where the offense just does goes through the defense (outside of blocks/steals) as if it didn't exist.

Haha yeah.

Those where just videos showing the defense off. Most teams in college dont play like that but the videos shows great defense because thats what they are pushing, just like live pushes the flashy stuff.
