Nothing's been mentioned about replays yet. I too hope we'll be able to go back further in Instant Replay than we've been able to the last couple of years.

in here you notice that you have some sort of freestyle replay

Maybe we will get that type of replay in the game

Yeah I hope so too, something would be nice. It's the little touches like that, that seem to have been missing from the past few versions of Live. Nice to see the taunting/celebrating is back from some of the videos - after a particularly nasty dunk I saw Amerie go into some sort of on-court taunting animation haha.. it was nice. I think little touches like that, and the ability to replay end of quarter/game shots adds a lot of atmosphere to the game. Live 2004/2005 is overall a lot better then 2003, but presentation wise Live 05 is kind of like watching the Spurs play for me - technically sound, pretty smooth to watch, but atmospherically and energy wise, it's about as lively as a funeral home :)

Clutch would be nice to get back... I'd still go for the Star rating above clutch stuff...

I've watched the T-Mac 13 points in 35 seconds and I can tell you that no one else would have been able to score those shots in the fading seconds of the game. The man's a true star...

What I mean that this star rating would also mean how they shoot the tougher shots... Guys like Kobe and TMac would have very high star ratings as they are clutch and they take all sorts of weird shots at anytime of the game... I just hate to see that point guard number 13 in dynasty season 3 hit fade-away shots in the face of my center in the game... I think only the true stars like Kobe and TMac should be able to do that or atleast be better at it than guys like Fred Hoiberg etc. Fred is a great shooter, but he doesn't have the ability to score so freakishly as TMac and Kobe and this should too be regulated somehow...

Also the star rating could effect the clutch shooting as well... It would be a universal rating for tough shots and clutch shots... You have your field goal shooters and then you have your star shooters... I mean like Kyle Korver and Allen Iverson could be about same in the field goal rating, but Korver's star rating would be lower and thus he wouldn't be as effective doing some of the stuff that Iverson can put down... But shooting the open shot, they'd be about the same... Iverson would have just a better touch with the tough shots.

Clutch is important... Some people freeze, some people don't... TMac certainly does not freeze in the final minutes 8-)

Funny thing about McGrady. If you would have given him a clutch rating before last year, it would have been low. McGrady has come up small with the game on the line before. But I can't argue with his clutch play last year.

And Korver is a clutch shooter.

To me clutch is making unbelieveable shots when the game is on the line. If your a good shooter (like Korver) and you get an open 3 and nail it, that's just not clutch to me, because he's real good that shot in the 1st place. But when somebody starts throwing up very contested, probably-won't-go-in shots, and they somehow go in, and they've been doing that all their career, thats clutch. Knowing what to do is part of it. I saw Korver try to save his team with a 3 one game, he couldn't create his own shot, and threw up some wild 3 that went off the backboard, that's not clutch.

Agreed... Ray Allen for example, big time player (better shooter than Korver too) but last years playoffs in the Arco against the Kings, they could have levelled the series, but Ray comes up with that sick fade away 3 to kill the game late... that's clutch baby!

clutch would be Kobe, T-Mac, Billups, Horry, Gordon for example.

there should also be some sort of rating for playoffs....we saw Wade elevate his game extremely as did Amare whilst others folded.

I totally agree, that would be a great feature. Would make the playoffs much more exciting. Also bring back the player celebration from NBA Live 2001, where everyone gives chest bumps and stuff
