Expectations

What is everyones expectations for this game? Usually im hyped, but after 3 bad years of live, I'm not bothered. Im more excited for madden, and live is not guaranteed a purchase (first time since 1997 ive said that).

So what is everyones expectations? Great game, or a game to play until 2007 arrives?

Also.. I wonder if bogut will be on the cover for the aussie version... :crazy:

Even though I have reservations about Freestyle Superstars, I'm really looking forward to NBA Live 06. If the new Freestyle feature works as it's intended, Dynasty Mode is even deeper and most (or hopefully all) of the annoying quirks in NBA Live 2005 are fixed, I won't have much to complain about. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect I'll be satisfied, and maybe pleasantly surprised.

I'm not excited about it whatsoever... I'm more excited about NBA 2K6 (which has already announced it's made it's own dynasty mode deeper) and NBA 06, with that cool NBA Life thing they have. I'll still buy it out of loyalty but from what I've seen so far there's nothing to really write home about. There's just something about the fact that all we've heard about is this Freestyle Superstar thing that tells me something about this game isn't going to be right.

I'm not going to be buying this game.. not a single mention of any improvements to gameplay or to the dynasty.

Typical of EA they are filling it with as much fluff as possible in hopes the general public doesn't notice that the game is worse then nba live 2001.

this is basicly exactly how i feel. i dont wanna hear about players sweating or being able to dunk on anyone at will, i wanna hear about the damn dynasty mode. its the only reason to buy a sports game now imo. if they dont give us some info soon about it i am going to end up just buying madden and live will have to wait til 07 when they maybe, finally, smarten up and realize its the damn dynasty that needs the work.

Be patient bro! Why some of us are like concluding ahead while ALL the improvements for the game were NOT even release yet..

Of course improvements on the GAMEPLAY / DYNASTY will be disclose at the right time especially when we already have the exclusive Producer's interview..

You are totally out of ur mind saying that NBA LIVE 06 or 05 is worst than LIVE 2001!!!

And before I forgot, SUPERSTAR Mode is part of the GAMEPLAY aspect of the game and it's one of the NEW things for the gameplay dep't..

I don't think I'm going "to be buying" this game either. :twisted:

I'll buy it for PS2 though and If I get an xbox360 maybe for that but I won't "buy" it for PC.

All I know is with all these new Freestyle Superstars, the passes and moves, it will make All-Star Weekend very realistic. :lol:

So what?? Because I'm optimistic and I'm buying this game no matter what.. It is just stupid to say that LIVE06 or 05 is worst than 2001. So you agree with that??

Live ranks behind 2k6 and sonys nba 06 so unless I get a record deal I will not likely be buying NBA Live. I will probably buy 2k's College Hoops instead.

I do think Live will come back with better spacing and a transistion game this year but I have not read one thing about team strategy or the CPU using offensive plays so I highly doubt I will purchase it.

Excitement level is nonexistent. I think the disappointment stems with NBA Live's 3 dead years after a solid game with 2000. From 2001-2003 the games were not even playable now they are slowly getting to enjoyable status for a game or two a month. Thank the NBAPA there is no exclusive deals!
