After approval of Andrew, this thread has been locked and a couple of members (The Game, Bl@ck Thorne. COOLmac you're very close) banned. On the first page of the 2005 version of this thread, Andrew states:
No one was ever sure exactly what went on in this thread, but it was left to everyone to trust you Filipino's to obey the forum rules and show Andrew the respect he deserves for allowing such an unusually segregated thread. It's now become very clear that his trust has been broken, and in fact you guys haven't seemed to bother following the rules for a long long time now.
Abusing people (moderators including me) in Pinoy because they can't understand what you're saying is not only cowardly, it's a blatant violation of forum rules. Discussing illegal downloads, once again is strongly against forum rules. We've banned people for less then what goes on in this thread, but seriously, "suking tindahan", you were deliberately violating forum rules and only getting away with it because no one knew what you were saying.
Thankfully however, not all Pinoys at the NLSC are like this. As a result of this, alot of this thread has been translated for us and we finally know what you're upto. It's a shame when there's people who post here that genuinely just want to discuss NBA Live and have that ruined by a select group who can't even comprehend basic rules, but that's how it is. If you want someone to blame for this, blame them. I thank those who were brave enough to step forward and inform us of what was happening in here, and as a result the deserving members will be punished.
Also due to this thread, there will not be any more Pinoy, or language specific threads at the NLSC. This is an English based forum, most people who post here can speak at least basic English and if the thanks we get for allowing people to speak their mother tongue are 16 pages worth of rule breaking and taking advantage of peopels' trust, then it's time we stopped being so lenient.
I understand that some people (me included) have come into this thread and annoyed you, and if your abuse and whatever was a direct retaliation of that this action wouldn't be taken. Since there's been so much constant and consistant rule breaking on many levels, this is the only action we can logically take.
To anyone who argues against this decision (and there will be alot of them), deal with it. We're not obliged to allow this thread, it was based on trust and that's been broken so frankly, don't come whinging to us. If you want anyone to blame, blame the people who've been breaking all of the rules for page after page. You know who they are.
If you feel like you don't want to continue posting in English at the NLSC, then go somewhere else. Thank you for reading.
