I think that JaoSming, Andrew and the rest of the guys working on the project will do their very best to deliver a great game for NBA Live '06 when they are done ...

I want better graphics, better gameplay and current rosters. Too bad you couldn't put Reggie Miller and Marv Albert in the game as the broadcating team.
I forget... did '06 have Kerr doing commentary, or was it Mike Fratello ?

Kerr was paired up with Marv on commentary in NBA Live 06. Mike Fratello was coaching the Grizzlies at the time.

I can say that nba06 needs more player transactions like trades, free agent signing etc. for the CPU..

Probably not. To edit something we need to be able to access it and none of the files we can work with would allow us to tweak that logic as far as I can see.

how about the body types? can you change it? like in nba2k series.. and some sig shots and can you change the background for low environment settings? maybe you can put some tricks and add some art files for low environment settings please. ..

Can you guys fix the substitution pattern? (REALISTIC)
For exmple, in PHX

Starting 5
PG Nash
SG Bell
SF Hill
PF Stoudemire
C O'Neal

Can Barbosa will in for O'Neal and Diaw for Hill? Bell will moved to SF and Stoudemire will moved to Center.

The lineup will be like this
PG Nash
SG Barbosa
SF Bell
PF Diaw
C Stoudemire

As already explained, we can't assign signature shots to individual players.

To a certain extent, not quite as effectively as you've described it.

Keep the requests coming everyone but please remember we have to work with what NBA Live 06 gives us; we're not creating a brand new game here.

there are a few things,
1st- in Dynasty mode, can you do something about Rookies? They just suck, a SG will always shoot the 3pointer and FG well, but a SF sucks usually at FG. And can you make the draftable players taller? I mean PG, they are usuall 5'10''-6'1''.
2nd Is it possible to make Free agent signing something like in 08 with Veteran Signing or how you call it, Mid level exception etc.
3rd There should be more assists for some players.
4th Some players retire too fast. Maybe a trigger could be like Overall smaller than 60+ 36 age.

We can look into it but I can't promise anything. We'll need to be able to access that part of the game's logic/engine before we can change anything. Simulated stats are probably the most likely thing we can try to fix.

In Dynasty mode, is it possible to add actual player names from NCAA for the rookie drafts? I think it'll be quite a task to do, since the computer generate lots of names randomly, but it'll add realism to the Dynasty...

it is possible, but it isnt something that we will be working on right away.

No problems JaoSming! I guess the priority is on the major mods; i suppose the nitty gritty stuff can be fine-tuned after v.1.0 is released..

I did remember live 06 don't have any "replays" of the highligts the takes place in certain scenario in game.

I know tht this is just a minor thing but it will make the game more realistic.

Do you thinks guys that you could bring replay features on this mod ?

auto replays are exactly possible. 06 does have a replay system but you need to press rebound to trigger it and it only happens after a FSS play.

That won't be our first priority but definitely something we can achieve (probably not the audio though) and will be looked at once the main updates are complete.

How about this request:

Would it be possible to add in some commentary with Marv saying missing players names, such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, etc? I have checked out the Audy 06 program, and to my understanding Live 06 is the only version which allows you to edit/add to the commentary. I tried to do it and never could get it to work, but I'm sure the brilliant people on this forum could succeed where I've failed.

I'm sure adding retro players and their names in the commentary isn't very high on everyone's list, but it definitley is on mine. I don't want to make this a help topic, but if anyone has some input on how to accomplish this, I'd love to hear it. Anyways, there's my request!

is it possible to re-update the crowd like the one we see in the newer consoles? the ea pc defaullt crowd is so out of place from what the NBA players look like (especially when we give them higher textures)...? can we give them more textures, animation, etc? or will it slow down the gameplay?

I noticed when I installed and compare the crowd from 07, and 08 to 06...some crowd are not seated properly or some people in the crowd look like those cardboard celebrity.. really out of place.
