on the chinese website you have to go through a registration process, so you can't really guess your way around.

Patch Overview:

This patch is based on the Japanese manga <<Slam Dunk>> by the Mangaka Inoue Takehiko. It uses the NBALIVE 06 game produced by EA SPORTS , with modifications to the original game’s structure.

This patch version is the initial V1.0, therefore its purpose is mainly for everyone to test and for entertainment! Due to time constraint, there are still many things to iron out, please contribute your valuable comments, we will utilize constructive comments to be used as ideas for later versions.

The original patch only contains DBF, ASF, FSH, BIG, VIV, BMP, UBR etc formats, other formats are not within our consideration. We have tested and passed all tests, using original versions of Kaspersky, Norton etc antivirus programs! Please use the patch with an ease of mind, however if you have downloaded other from the official site causing your computer or other properties to be damaged, we do not claim responsibility!

Content Description:

This patch alters 5 teams on the original game.
This includes Shoyo replacing Boston, Shohoku replacing the Bulls, Kainan replacing Spurs, Sannoh replacing Pistons, Ryonan replacing the Jazz.

Originally we wanted to add teams, not replace, but testing determined that this method doesn’t allow dynasty mode, hence we used the current method. Please forgive us!

This Patch changes the game interface, players, numbers, team logos, team courts, jerseys, music, including the score panel/board!
Please backup these folders located in the NBALIVE 06 folder: AUDIO, SGSM
As well as LOADBAR.FSH, we will not take responsibility for any data loss!

Usage explanation:

Simply install the program to your NBALIVE 06 directory!
Thereafter copy the save folder to “My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\saves” folder and you can load it in-game.

Important Notice:

It is best to install the patch to a clean nba installation, or before installation: Delete any folders in the SGSM folder starting with bost, chic, detr, sana or utah. However if you do not have these folders you can skip this step! Else you might encounter the purple court problem, or you might not even be able to enter the game!

Ok, I just installed this patch, and I must say it is an excellent patch. I won't elaborate yet, time to play.

Seems like some of you have trouble installing. I'll come up some installation help again later.

Despite not having independent (as in not overwriting the teams) Dynasty support, you can still play Dynasty mode with each of the teams.

Also, does it seem that Rukawa's a little underpowered? I know he's an all around type, but 70's across the board? Seems more reasonable to put 80's, since he played evenly (or about) with Sendoh and Sawakita (and he seems to be better than Kainan's rookie from the manga).

i dunno but i played my first game against kainan... got totally destoryed, i was playing as shohoku..
the balance of the mod is still a little weak, but its just V1, so its good

This thread's a little old, but just letting you all know that a 1.01 patch came out (3 months ago, rofl). The music from Slam Dunk is included in the patch. No gameplay mechanics changes (stats etc, only the music).

The file is located at CNNBA's website.

i have downloaded the patch named slam dunk v1.0 but unfortunately
it doesent work lol there are 2 folders in chinese like this...

the main folders...

the first sub folder...

and then the other folder tha should be the .exe file

well this is what the slamdunk v1.0 patch contains
but i dont have a fckin clue how to install it
can anyone help ???
i think that many of us want this patch so we would be gratefull if you could help us out

well i have installed successfully the patch now the problem is that
i can see the teams names, jerseys etc (kainan-ryonan-shohoku-shoyo)
but the players of those teams are still the same they were before shohoku is chicago bulls so i have hinirch for example instead of mitsui

any ideas?
