Wow...I've only just finished saying that I keep up with the transactions and don't need them to be posted...but thanks anyway.

LOL gg. Thanks for the patches Andrew!

Andrew, since it's already been posted about 7 times in this thread alone, why not auto-ban the IP of anyone who asks annoying questions like this, regarding the roster updates? You don't need the headache, man, and if I have the choice of ridding annoyances or having you stop doing rosters for some God awful reason, I'll take the former.

Banning's a last resort when it comes to forum punishments and we give more leeway for worse things. In future I'll probably just ignore those questions as they've been answered enough.

Oh man have I got some good aussie jokes. Methinks I would get banned for them though...

he averages 35.9...
i think maybe increase the fg and ft. in andrew's rosters, kobe's fg is 87, 1 pt less than lebron's 88.. and kobe is a jump shooter.. so maybe raise to 88 or 89?
It depends... I made a 6'10 SG with 99 everything for the fun of it and he averaged 29ppg.
Second highest was 18, third was like 15, and so on. Starting 5 averaged double figures, but thats about it.
yes.. but my point here actually is, if kobe is more of a jump shooter than lebron, i don't think lebron should be higher than kobe even though he has improved that jump shot very much.. maybe decrease lebron's 88 fg then to about 86 or 87, and wade's 85 fg to 83 or 82. tmac's fg is 86 by the way. so i think the ratings should be relative of each other.
that is because i don't think if lebron's and wade's fg is as consistent as tmac or kobe who has been shooting jumpers in years..
by the way, i think drew gooden's freethrow should be decreased to about 75-77.

Depends on the context. I mean, if you randomly went around insulting Australians and disrupting conversations then yeah, probably.
Sure, I could raise Kobe's FG a couple of notches which will be accurate but won't impact the simulated stats much. The stats engine is very disappointing, especially since it was supposed to have been improved.
Fri Jan 27, 2006 9:07 am
exactly mvv, even if it doesnt effect the simmed stats, its still nice to know that if i have kobe and lebron both on my team, i can know that its better to shoot the open jumper with kobe than with lebron cuz he is better, its cool having the stats exactly realistic, which is what you do, so thx for that, i do think bumping up tmac's and kobe's fg is a nice idea.
Also, have you thought about upping Luke Ridnour's FT rating, he is shooting very well this year from the stripe
Fri Jan 27, 2006 11:21 am
Rindnour is automatic. What is he currently at?
Fri Jan 27, 2006 12:25 pm
Ridnour is shooting .909 from the stripe this season, which would put him at a 91 FT Rating for Live, going by the standards that I, and seemingly Andrew share. Luke only shoots .878 from the line for his career, however, so anywhere between 88 and 91 is accurate.

man i dont know if you've made it on v1.04...but the brazilian lucas tischer (phoenix suns) now is playing here in brazil so you can take off him from suns rosters
Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:07 pm
I've just finished watching miami-phoenix game.. and raja bell is way better from 3 point! andrew maybe u consider raising a little bit more of his % from 3 point? same about james jones Free throws.. he should be like nash and boykins level of ft.. his very good..

One last time...the whole point of a current roster update is to update the rosters. Therefore, I have already made that change. Please base all feedback on the current version.

I expect a few posts about something regarding some incidents in the NBA
Trades!!ZOMZOZMOGMZOG
Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:18 pm
well like andrew said, this is a current roster updates, so his FT rating should be based on the current season, so i think it should be 91, to represent his success and improvement this season
Fri Jan 27, 2006 2:53 pm
Agreed, it's an easy change I'm willing to make.
And before anyone asks...yes, I've seen the latest trades involving Minnesota and Phoenix and Minnesota and Boston. They'll be in the next update.

Andrew, Salim Stoudamire is right handed in your patch...
Sun Jan 29, 2006 1:29 pm
I'm sorry it ruined the whole patch for you; I haven't seen any Hawks games this year. I'll make that change now lest I forget it.
Sun Jan 29, 2006 1:35 pm
Wtf is that? I'm simply pointing it out to make your patch be even better than it already is. I didn't come in here and say OMG I HATE THIS PATCH SALIM IS RIGHT HANDED.
Another thing I saw is that Martynas Andirskeviucius is listed as a PF but he's a C.
(he also is a great shooter he beat all the cavs in a 3pt contest in a shootaround and is known for his shooting..in the game his rating is only 15)
If don't like me pointing out minor things then fine...I'm just trying to help.
Sun Jan 29, 2006 1:48 pm
Calm down. It was just a tongue-in-cheek comment because the emoticon you used seemingly (though I'm sure unintentionally) suggests it's a bigger deal than it is.
Sun Jan 29, 2006 2:13 pm
Is anyone else having problems with dynasty mode and these rosters? I keep getting a codebase error, the farthest I ever got was the end of December.
Sun Jan 29, 2006 2:19 pm
I've heard a couple of people are having problems but I've tested them thoroughly and was able to proceed through multiple seasons without a single crash anywhere.

This patch doesn't work for Canadian Computers.

Andrew - Blount has a trade kicker that would have gone in effect after the Timberwolvestrade. Not sure if it's 10 or 15%, but it something to look out for.
