What did you edit? and was it though a dbf editor or through the game?
first time i just edited some lineups and started my dynasty and it crashed, then i installed the roster again and just started a dynasty and it still crashed

Ok, now I've simmed 5 season trying to get a feel of what I did wrong/could do better/should change.
Priority 1 is indeed to fix the damned contracts again (I changed them all in a backup, without noticing I edited the wrong .dbf's), and priority number 2 is for me to balance the ratings better.
Since the global OA-ratings are generally higher this year, that means that the generated rookies also is rated higher. Which in turn means that the rookies I made ususally get cut or bumped to the side, even though they are better in all aspects but the OA.
So that needs balancing. Also I'm hoping I can fuck around in the names.dbf to make the generated rookies have more "realistic" names. In one simmed year, the top-5 rooks all hade scandinavian names. Something that is very very very unlikely of happening. So there will be tweaking there. And the last priority is to balance out the way the added players behave on court.
So yeah, I know it's annoying with these updates following hand, but it's my first time making a roster for NBA Live, so bear with me.
Any input on my v1.1 is appriciated.

that type of quality control is really appreciated, thank you for putting in the time and effort.
I really love ur rosters, I know it's really labor intensive, it must be a labor of love for you.
All of the things you've mentioned is spot on.
I'm gonna hold out a little longer and wait for ur next update to use in my dynasty. I want my whole dynasty built on this awesome roster.
no rush, but do you have an aproximate timeline? no rush, just curious.

You have to get them. Might aswell, since they are both top-notch patches and easy to install.

Hey ive noticed some players ratings have changed, what did u base these ratings on? (eg. lebron is down 2 and no longer an outside defender)
Also the line-ups dont seem to be accurate but im not sure if thats been changed yet or not. Any chance of including the 2 rookies from Dallas at all (Powell and Marshal)
Apart from that i really love your work and hope u keep working and improving on them

The motivation behiend the LeBron change is simple. In my eyes he isn't a "technical" dunker. He lives on his freakish athleticism, so I lowered it to just above 80. and he isn't a smart defender, though he has skills. So his def.awareness got shifted down.
Rawle Marshall will be added, completly forgot about him.

Yeah i see were your coming from, Lebron has the potential to do all the fancy dunks but doesnt really do it i think. Whats the cutoff stats for the outside stopper? I still think he deserves that he ranked 3rd in steals per game last year and 2nd in total steals, just a thought anyway.
Thanks for putting in Rawle Marshall, i always like using the rookies in the team.

His steal-rating is untouched. But he doesn't play defence worthy of a defensive stopper. Atleast in my world, and since these are my rosters, I decide.
But if you want him as an outside stopper, just raise his def.awareness.

So Habba with the J Singleton and Deji Akindele, do I have to create them? or have u already done that?
And if u have already done it, do I just add the files to the sgsm?
THanks
