is sgsm folder the folder that u have on ur comp with a buncha stuff in it?

It's the one in your nba live folder that you extract all the cyberfaces to.

Why does it weigh like 115MB? Is it cuz u hav other stuff like cfaces for NBA players, courts, jerseys, etc?

Yes it contains all the rookies faces and portraits and has some other files.

I thought Thabo's FG/3PT was a little low but that's just me nitpicking. As well as Tyrus Thomas' ratings in that area. He has a respectable 13-17' jump shot.

Hey, just to let you know, you set Rudy Gay so that it says that he's been drafted by Memphis, but he's been drafted by Houston. Anyways I fixed it through DBF.
BTW How can I know the codes for the Birth places? I wanna update them. I don't want it to say that Aldridge's been born in Morocco or stuff like that.

EDIT: Some of the shoes are pink, do I need to install some patch or something?

This is why the rosters are not final, because i copied my player.dbf and appearance.dbf and then updated the rosters, I worked primarily with the rookies. Give me a break pshhhhhhhhht. lol

The shoes are pink probably because hammertime23 had added some new shoes to the shoeacc.dbf
The players shoe in the appearance file corsponds (check spelling) to a shoe number that you don't in your sgsm.

are the shoes pink in everyones game or just joes?

I havent checked mine, It crashed when I was signing/releasing players to get them on their respective teams.

I don't know whats going on. I know one problem that I encountered was that I had to make a new folder in my saves directory and drag all the files to that and load the roster with the name of the folder I just created and dragged the files into. If you have the locale.eng and the sgsm part fully installed which it is manually it should work.

An easier way to add the rookies to the game is this:

Just add a bunch of dummy players into appearance.dbf and players.dbf using excel, or by hitting create player in the game.

Then go in excel or dbfcommander and assign those guys draft rank 0 through 86.

Then run the batch files. You don't have to be in a dynasty to do it.


I added the players using the draft installer that way and it seems to work fine - and I used it on NBA Live *2005*.

I've noticed that a few of the coaches heads are pink. I think that's easily fixed by a cyberface though. That and the few players that have been misplaced, it's a great patch!

Though, you can continually update the transactions. I don't think Andrew would have a problem with it since he's probably aware of this patch. I wouldn't take any chances though. What you could do is update the movements and stuff and offer to send it out via e-mail. I think... keyword being think... that would be acceptable towards Andrew. With his status of updating '06 in the air, it's 50-50 that he'd care.

I only installed the roster file since i cant download the sgsm part and it work great. No pink shoes everything is working great, I just move some of the players using nba live editor.. I guess the only problem is the speech files since i did not install that also. Also i noticed balkman is not in the game with the knicks but beyond that great patch...
