Sid wrote:OleEnglish, how did you find out which 'SCHOOLNUM' corresponded to which college/country?

I just searched for players in the game that went to the same school or are from the same country.

with the birhtown its very simple. just open birthtown.dbf and search for the city. paste the number to 'BTOWNID'. you can even creat your own birthtown there if its not available

Yeah, I know. It was the colleges I was having problems with, the birthtowns I found (and yes, I have created some of my own :))...sadly no-one seems to know where the table is which lists the names of the colleges next to their SCHOOLNUM value...maybe it doesn't exist.

Can we release just a roster that has all these players put into the free agent pool? Or better yet added to their respective teams?

Now that is a great idea. These guys who made this should just make a new roster file with these players and there updated appearance.

Go to utilities in db commander and select export to ascii file. make sure players.dbf is checked and then export it and save it as a .txt file. thats what I did and it worked.

Well he made it so that people can draft which players they want, themselves.

But it would still be in a dynasty, not in a roster.
If there's a way to add them to a roster please tell me how you do it, I'm interested.

Oh yea true, do you think if I ran the draft installer in my roster and then put the players on their teams it would work?

When you run clean and it gives you a message box that says "0", does that mean it worked?

I tried to run the NBA draft.bat in my roster and when i checked the players.dbf the rookies werent in there so i guess I'll leave the roster project to someone else.

I think we have to run the files in the dynasty's folder and then after the draft, when all the work is done, copy the players.dbf and appareance.dbf files to the roster folder. I'm gonna try that out later. I'll let you know if it works.

That would be the ultimate. The latest rosters [NLSC v1.08 or later] with the Draft 06 rookies in the free agent pool, or on respective teams. Not sure if this Draft Installer project is right for the job, made for dynasty and all, but it is the closest thus far.

Okay I copied the player.dbf and the appearance.dbf into my roster and it worked. Now I just have to put the players on their respective teams. But there is one slight problem, the all-star teams and the rbk all stars have no players since they werent included in dynasty mode. I can get the players on the right teams but I dont know how to add the all star teams and shit.

I don't think someone cares about the All-Star and the RBK teams right now
Can you please send me your players.dbf and appareance.dbf at king23@hotmail.it? Because I'm having a really hard time trying to install this patch, thanks in advance
