You don't have to hex edit a new .viv, you can just make a new one with EAGraph. If you want I can explain you how.

Im not quite sure if the problem is cause is loading too many files from the sgsm folder or cause is loaded too many uncompressed files, or just cause cant handle too many files doesnt matter where they are though

yo seraph for your shoes patches all we have to do is add the dbf to all the saved files or do we have to do ddo somethign with the .exe file to?

i checked the crash problams and it's seems to be as seraph said, there is too much files the game needs to load.
there is NO PROBLEM in seraph shoes, because once you play in individual training, there is no crashing, and if the problem was in seraph shoes, there should be one.
i can play certain games with some teams, like the cav's against philli, but it's seems to be because there is less shoes to load.
it will be intersting to edit the .viv file, because instead of adding new files to the game, you replace the old one's. (eg. i don't have the ea's nike gp shoes in my game because seraph replaced them with other one's, but i still have the ea's nike gp file, maybe if you just replace the shoe in the .viv file, there will be no need to put it in the sgsm - this is a thing i think every patcher should try)

i've got a question, don't be angry. When i play m dynasty mode for example P.Gasol had a pink shoes. I put accurate 06 in my saves folder, run, and it doesn't work. I also install all of Seraph parts include v.22, i install them to the sgsm folder? What i do wrong, or maybe thats should be?

Put the shoeacc.dbf in your saved game folder. Then make sure you have all the patches installed from 1-22. The latest patches are .exe files, so make sure you direct the patch to the correct directory for your game (*:\Program files\EA Sports\NBA Live 06). *=the drive you have installed the game to. That should do it. If not, look in your main Live directory. I had an issue where the patch placed the files there one time. Just cut & paste them to the sgsm folder.

I'm starting to believe the theory that the issue is not with one particular patch, it's just the overall number of files in sgsm that - at some point - the game just can't handle any more.

Well that's good news that those patches work with max detail and no crashes. It would also lend credence to the "too many files" theory, in that I have all those patches, plus roughly 700 face files (and my game has been crashing constantly).

Wow, I just counted, I have over 2,500 files in my sgsm folder. (thanks to all the great patchers out there, btw). Once again, I think these recent crashes that a lot of people are experiencing have to do with this total number of add-on files the game needs to read. Don't know for sure, though. Maybe the cut-off point is 2,300 or 2,400 - lord only knows.

i tend to belive its a number of things, first and formost it's not seraph's shoe patches, trust me i know, ive installed this damn game over and over , over, and im believing now that....

1. depends on your processor speed of your pc.

2. have you turned off your whole entire background, and maintainced your pc.

3, through http://www.download.com ..... i was able to find a very useful

tool called cacheman, my cousin hip me on to it, on there you can litterally set what you want your cache mem to run.

i chose game, so another words it closes down my other memory that i wouldnt need, if i normaly didnt have this tool and was running the game.

i havent tryed the shoes yet... im thinking about it, still after installing this game damn near 20 times learning through trial and error, im not sure if i could take another full install , but as of now i have all stads and courts, mix of jerseys, big dawgs, con's, frans, felix's, kuttan's, my boi ck, n drag's, 105 cf's total, tnt addon, big dawg's logo's addon and glen's, net, ball, refs, no circle icon patches, the lighting patch with sweat, 05 cam, ditty arena pack, drag's dorna's all 3 versions, and the crowd patch made by dwade.

and as i said i havent tryed the shoes i problay will, just to see, shrugs worst could happen it could crash, wont be 1st time, on a serious side since doing the the steps i said above, game has not crashed, so guess we'll see.

EDIT... yep it crashed right off the top right at allstar game, so no shoes for me, but that kool, with all the other gr8 patches out here, it more than makes up for it. latez

guys, I need a little help. I've downloaded the seraph shoe patch from 1-22, but how come i dont see those air jordan 1-13?? i see some shoes, but i think i should have more shoes that what i have...i know theres alot of shoes that are missing. could someone please help me. I would want to use those air jordans. thanks

I can't get the manual install shoes to work, I extract them to the SGSM folder but none of them show up. Only 20-22 work with the auto installer...what am I doing wrong
