Is there any chance you would include a sliders file Drew? Since there is a custom aiact that is included in the release.

I'm still recommending these ones as far as my own slider sets are concerned.

Thanks for the sliders Drew, I kinda liking it. Any news on the new update?

Nope, there's no release iminent. I'm a little burned out on the rosters at the moment so the next one might not be until after the Playoffs (and then the offseason updates will begin sometime after the Draft).

It is, but unfortunately I can't do anything about that myself as I don't make face or headshape patches. The problem with Rondo is that we've had to use his headshape file from NBA Live 08 and that isn't 100% compatible with NBA Live 06; although it shows up alright and we can assign a headband, it isn't displayed because of the issues with the headshape file. Allen's potentially an easier one to fix since it's just a matter of editing the face file but as I said I don't make face patches so I don't have the skills or expertise to do that myself. Any help we can get updating faces (and especially headshapes, Rondo's not the only one affected by that issue) would certainly be appreciated and we'll put any such updates to good use in future versions of the Project.

this update is very good :D. But i found a problem, when playing dynasty mode with the new roster, the other teams never change his players during the years, this is very boring. Some players become free agents in the end of each season, but they are ever signed by their own original teams. And trades are inexistent. Sorry for my poor english xD. I only want to play dynasty with the new rosters and with interesting alterations in the teams during the years.

For Rondo's headshape, try to use Dale Davis' ebo instead (and then get his headband ebo files also) and rename it to that of Rondo's. It worked for my taste and I reckon there's a resemblance there somehow. (Y)

For additional courts, you can try this out:

...to be sure that your game will be bug free, only install the crt and the lightmap files.

That's an issue with NBA Live 06, not the patch.

That's just how Dynasty goes sometimes. I haven't changed anything in the rosters that would result in fewer trades or less free agency movement (if I could edit such things I certainly would in an effort to make them better, not worse). That's been an issue with the game since it was released and people have reported it using several different rosters throughout the years, including the default ones. I can say with complete confidence that it's not the patch, nothing we've done would cause that in the first place (since it's a pre-existing issue with the game) and nothing we've done would accentuate it.

Quite easily, you just need to place a face file for Cedric Simmons in your sgsm folder. It seems that I left his face out of the installation routine, so I've made that correction while I think of it but for now you can download this file and extract his face and headshape to your NBA Live 06 sgsm folder:

Thanks for great project! I'm playing NBA Live 06 now with a lot of interest again.

P.S. NBA Live 06 is the best basketball game on PC! :)

I've answered your question in the other thread. For future reference, please don't post the same question in multiple threads as it just causes confusion in the troubleshooting process. Thanks. :)

Haven't posted here in an ages, but thanks to everyone who made this possible. I haven't played Live in years but I plan on giving this a shot in the next week or 2. Not sure if you remember me Andrew, but thanks for the great work you do to keep the PC version of NBA Live going.

Absolutely, I'm still doing rosters for 2005-08. It'll take a little while and I'd like to have some rookies faces in place before I release new rosters but the Project will continue.

I'm loving the PC Project Andrew, great work! Though I have a few small things to point out. The OKC court has some faces overlapping on the people in the crowd's bodies. Also, some players have pink gear? Finally, this isn't too major, considering it's happened to me in Live before, but some players have parts of their head visible through their headbands. Other than this, everything's top-notch! (Y)

P.S. Could I request some updated cyberfaces for Chris Bosh and Jose Calderon, to name a few? Thanks.

I'm afraid I'll have to leave any art corrections up to other people as I don't make faces, headshapes or courts/arenas. I have fixed up the problem with the pink accessories for the Thunder though, I'd made an error in teamgear.dbf and specified pink instead of white.
