Round of applause for Laxation who goes online forums to curse people out, ONLINE. Your childish jokes are not appreciated here, I can write the same dumb joke against you.

How funny is that? imbecile.

Ea screwed up the Aggression Slider in their hockey game this year so this might be true.

There aggression slider works backwards in hockey and I'm still in belief that somewhere they incoded the offensive rebounding slider wrong.

I actually tested a few games with it higher than the defensive rebounding slider and for some odd reason for few games it felt better.

I'm still fooling around with this approach.

Try lowering the defensive rebounding to 0 and offensive to 100 and see what happens

Sun Nov 13, 2005 8:12 am

there sure is a problem with offensive rebounds
i play an online league for a few years now, since 2004
so, there are many good players around me, some really good
I don't really know, how that translates in the world of noobs and pros, i don't really care either
we pushed OR rating in our rosters all the way down, we also lowered jump (we also changed almost everything, some parts a lot, some just slightly, turned out the superstar ability - only that way is the game playable, well at leat online, if you play a game against computer, there sure is a lot of fun scoring 100 points with all 99 superstars)
well, we still couldn't prevent offensive rebounds (let's say) bug
in most games there are still more OR then DR, oph and after you get an OR you have almost 100% chance to score
but ofcourse, there's still a chance noone in our league can do defensive jumps or that we all are really good in offensve jumps

BTW: to the moderators and administrators
how can you tollerate the language, the attitude of some of the users? I was surprised to see, in some other posts, that even some members of the NLSC team abuse their... let's say power... what a disappointment when people don't know their manners

Perhaps the sliders are BACKWARDS for rebounding?

heh thats a very interesting concept

Laxation, reminds me of myself on the old forums...he finds flaming funny. He thinks that it makes him unique to flame the shit out of people..and he thinks it garners him respect on the forums. Also, he doesnt care much about the repricussions. However, my personality when i joined, was unique. Lax will probably end up being a victim of lack of originality...even though he tends to say the stuff we all wanna say. :)

Is this the right button to box out? I just cant find the right button to box out, EA says hold down the freestyle button.

OFFENSIVE REBOUNDING & TIP-INS
When the ball comes off the rim, it's a matter of who wants it most—and who's in the best position to get it.

STANDARD REBOUND
If the rebound is midrange or long, your best bet is to press the Rebound button and jump for it. Don't just press the button the instant the ball hits the rim. Instead, watch where it's going, get your player in position, then jump. Jumping prematurely leaves you flat-footed (and looking foolish) when the ball finally does come down.

Tip
Hold down the right analog stick to "box out" an opponent who's trying to sneak around you for a rebound.

I played a few games with computer offensive rebounding at 100 and they only got around 3 per quarter. I think it IS backwards!

quick, post it in another thread incase someone gives a crap
