I think it has something to do with ATI drivers and it's support to NBA LIVE 06, download catalyst 6.1 it fixes it.
I have Catalyst 5.8 and problem starts when I play on 1600x1200 or 1280x1024,game works perfect all time but last minute but now is fixed with that jakarta's patch.

I know im kinda late to request this, but if someone could upload the shot clock fix again, because it seems that all links posted in these forums no longer has the file.
