Yeah, but ratings aren't based on potential, they're mainly based on how the player has played in the recent years. Darko isn't worthy of a 67 just yet. First he has to prove that he is good enough.

player ratings are not based on potential, if that was true than players like jonathan bender, djuan wagner and kwame brown should all be 99
player ratings are based on how good a player is (well at least on how good EA thinks a player is) manu isn't better than t-mac and his overall will probably be in the region of 83/86

What about Yao?
Do you think 75 is a little low?
Maybe 82 i think!

I would agree with you only if basketball wasn't a 5 vs 5 game, but since it is a 5 vs 5 game I'd rather have Gino on my team, T Mac has leaden his teams to failure once and again because he is as selfich as only Kobe could be. ;)

Gerald Green? Orien Greene? Ryan Gomes?

Fri Jul 01, 2005 4:01 am

i predict that lbj will jump up several notches in the ratings...well into the nineties....

Tue Jul 05, 2005 9:35 am

i am curious as to what people think Gerald Green will be also. do you think his rating is going to be hurt because he slid so far? or will Ea give him the same rateing at 18 that they would if he was drafted 4th

Tue Jul 05, 2005 9:52 am

wut about:

bosh
rose
jamal

Tue Jul 05, 2005 12:46 pm

bosh:89
rose:80
jamal...sry but who is that guy?

Tue Jul 05, 2005 2:22 pm

Cot damn ... these ratings are high ... Chris Bosh at 89 is too high ! That is like all star status. As well as Jalen Rose's. His days are about to end. Jamaal Maglore would probably be like 68-72.

Tue Jul 05, 2005 2:41 pm

I give Earl Boykins a rating of 70.

Sun Jul 10, 2005 4:44 am

AK47
Carlos Boozer
Deron Williams
Starbury

Sun Jul 10, 2005 5:36 am

i just hope that ign releases the full list of player rateings prior to the games release, like they did last year.

Mon Jul 11, 2005 9:53 pm

Tyson Chandler?
Kirk Hinrich?
Ben Gordon?

Mon Jul 11, 2005 10:13 pm

Chandler 65
Hinrich 74

Mon Jul 11, 2005 10:50 pm

Chris Bosh averaged 17 and 9 on the season, 18 and 10 after the Vince trade.

In the East, that IS All-Star caliber.

Jalen Rose's rating should be lower because he can't defend a cardboard cutout, let alone a competent NBA player and because his basketball IQ is very low.

No way Bosh is an 89. 17-9 on a struggling team isn't that great. That'd make Okafor an 85 or so. Amare a 99, etc. No way man. I'd think bosh is 75 maybe, and Rose around an 80, but I'm thinking maybe 74.
