hey am i suppose to take the ids from the apparence and put them in the players.dbf or the other way

change the id's in the appearance.bat to match the ones in the players.dbf

I have change the appearid and save it in appearance.bat in put it in my dynasty. my question is do i have to change the appearid again when i want to start a new dynasty, or will I only run the appearance in my new dynasty since the appearance has been saved before.

You have to change again in every dynasty.Because the playerid in players.dbf is given random by the NBA draft.bat.So that's what I think OleEnglish might have something to fix.It is such a large work to change it in every dynasty.

this can also be edited with the DB Commander. but i think its too much work !
may be you can type in "1050" or something like that so the birth place is set to "n/a"

i'm always looking foward to real dynasty in my NBA 06,so i think this patch is a great work inches from completely real.Doing more,maybe perfect.

It's too much hardwork for me lol. I think I'll just wait for the draft and another great roster update.

open players.dbf with a dbf editor.
Go to the implented rookies.
Note their player id's
open appearances.bat with notepad and change the id's there with the player id's from players.dbf
run the bat

thats all you have to do...

in my dynasty Patrick O'bryant won ROY with 18ppg and 7 boards. Morrison was slightly behind him. As I managed to have 3 first rounders I drafted Morrison, Redick and O'Bryant. After Season 2 (Grant Hill retired) I started Morrison as SF, Redick as SG and Morrison had an Al-Star season scoring 23ppg.

Does someone know the exact way to make player's freestyle aviliable at the first season after draft?I have done something to make my Adam Morrison appear a SCORE OUTSIDE freestyle,but I forgot how I did it,maybe do something irregular when save the dynasty.

And now I want to draft my sweet JJ Redick in my Celtics dynasty.His FG 3PFG and FT are all above 80 so he should have a SHOOTER freestyle.But it is after season begins that rating.bat is updated.So it couldn't appear when I reload the dynasty after updated.

Does someone have the same situation and same desire?

Oh yeah,i finally got it!Guys who have the same desire to make your rookies a freestyle plz follow me.

First of all,select your rookie,take Carney for example.His rating for a HIGHFLYER is 84 for dunk,90 for jump,78 for speed,only 1 point below the dunk standard(85).

Secondly,when you begin a new season,you have to update the ratings,now you copy the rating.bat to your dynasty folder and select edit.Find Carney's line and edit his dunk from 84 to 85 and save it.Run it and then load your dynasty.

Then it is the most important step.Select edit players,then edit anything,his number,or position,or shoe.After edit,select quit and save.

Now what you have to do more is to save your dynasty again.See the freestyle superstar column,and you can see Carney is a HIGHFLYER.

Guys I don't know why these steps works,but actually it is the only way to make your player to be a superstar at the upcoming season,I mean the upcoming season.

I hav a problem. the players have the right age but there height and weight and body (not the head) are all wrong. EX: Marcus Williams was 6'6''

That always happens to me too. So i just decided never to do it again. My dynasty is basically ruined unless there is a way to uninstall it.

what are you doing? it's not a big deal to use these patch. just edit the appearances.bat correctly and everything is fine!

OKAY i tried it again but this time some players were correct but most of the other were not

some players such as JJ Redick are perfect / Shannon Brown's apperance is perfect but his height is off/ some both are wrong
