Im using Johnny R.'s lighting file. His first one, not v2. Brightness at 90. It is a little over the top with the contrast, but I love the screenshots you can get out of it.

The bench players / crowd are floating, I didnt want to finish that part since Im so unfamiliar with this court (and ya know the time situation)

All I've done is take EA's court and made it for game use, but thanks for the compliment anyway

I have no idea when Ill be updating / making the other 2 courts (maybe 3 or 4) cause my birthday is this week; so if you have any issues with any of my courts, tell me and ill take care of it

It's Time everybody

Rucker Park
this is going to be the best court patch I will do for 06, hands down. Now Im just gunna say it one more time, I am strapped for time, so i will take advantage of this.

This is going to be a community effort, everytime I make even a simple texture change I will post it up here for everyone to see. If you want to grab a quick beta of what I have done so far, AIM, PM or email me and Ill send you it.

I want as much community feedback as possible. Unless its really dumb, ill try and incorperate your suggestion into this court. Rucker Park is a legendary court, so it should be done justice.

I've decided to use my Recreation center court as a base court because I have the fence moved already and it should be relatively easy to move things around. I will also be using the Xbox 360 version of NBA 2k6 as a reference court. The Following is a video of the court. any comments so far? Im going to try and get the court done and move all the props and buildings out of the way tonight.

Alright, I just put a good 2 hours in, and this is what i have so far

I wanted to have the Rucker Park Text on the board like in Street v3

Remember this is only after 2 hours of work / research

Court I know that i need to de-saturate the pavement a little bit, re-texture the lines (hires them) fix the center logo to nothing but the two rings

Backboard Fix the white box, OK the form work, I was happy with the stand from the recreation court, but it is up to you guys. We can stick with the form work I have there, or we can switch the backboard to the default Urban Court (we'd lose the text and the glass backboard supports)

So a couple questions for everyone to answer:
1.) Time of day? A.) Daytime B.)Nighttime
2.) Backboard? A.) Keep what you have B.) Use the Urban Court

and then any other questions you have.

Ill be online a little tomorrow during work and I get back home around 4pm EST.

time of day- daytime but idk how it would look with the sun you had for your like first patch, so put screens up for it with the sun and just normal.. if it looks bad i would just prefer a normal court with the normal colours no lighting difference.
backboard- keep what you have, add the text.

ill attempt a red white and blue net again; I was thinking of having it set at evening time, so the lights can be on, but its still light outside. I gotta fix the padding around the backboard (the white line).

forgot 1 other question (im at work and its going to be a busy day so i dunno what ill get done here today)


in the video it shows the court's 3pt line going out of bounds because its the NBA distance on a high school sized court. Im going to try to make a version of this court like that. Yay, nay?

and if you 'missed' answering a question, feel free to still give me some feedback. so if Im working on the fences later and you want me to change the backboard, I can still do that.

so the fence is a little strectched out, but at least I got it in there, im going to use that sky texture (from the beach court in Live 2003), I really like how the court shape came out, center logo needs to be refined/redone.
