i am having trouble tho...i edited the appearance . bat and all..im in dynasty..i go to scout rookie class and it is regular nba players in their ex:aaron mckie

i went to the draft and the cpu drafted the real draftess like adam morrison but when i go to draft the only people in the draft pool are current nba players


i checked the players.dbf and that is fine


wat do i do?

Hmm. Not sure what is wrong. Try and run the draft.bat again.

How do you change the apperance.bat???

Right click on it and go to edit (with notepad.)

Is it possible to delete the computer-generated rookies, or will this crash the game?

are some of the leftover generated draftees supposed to still be part of the draft class??

OE,i can't quite sure after i read your note that which one i have to change,the player.dbf?or the appearance.bat?

I used Db Commander to open the players.dbf and you said scroll down and i will find the real draftees but i still see the same generic draftees...how do i solve this?

hi, thanks for the patch but i was wondering if i did something wrong because i have a few issues...andrea bargnani and yue sun have pink heads and some player portraits are missing(marcus williams, etc.). like there is nothing there, not even the black outline portait. just shows the team logo without a face.

i check some other players such as sergio rodriguez, randy foye and they look perfect. any idea what might be wrong?

Why didnt you guys use Randy Foye , Maurice Ager and Allan Ray from cazzuro courtney and Sam????

Hey everybody these are portraits for 63 of the draftees. Let me warn you though. Most of the portraits are cut off at the bottom. i had planned on fixing them and releasing them to you in about 2 days but because i'm switching ISPs and all. it could be awhile before i'll be back. i just decided it might be better to have anything than nothing. Anyhow enjoy them, fix them if want if u can't wait, or leave them be if u don't like them. Oh yea great job to everyone who contributed and OE for starting it.

OE hasn't got every player's portraits so that these players would not have portraits and that's not a problem.

i dont think all the players' faces have been added in, but thats cause some have not been released by their patchers

They have been added.the problem would be in your changing of appearance.bat.Edit the .bat file and find Bargnani and Sun,see if there is something wrong.

I have everything all right,including CFs and ratings,thanks to OE.

Just two questions.Firstly will i do the same changing thing in every of my dynasty?If so,that's such a terrible large work.Secondly,i see JJ Redick's rating,his FG,3P,FT all pass 80,so he should be a Shooter Superstar.I think why he isn't in the beginning of the next season is because i update the rating after the season begins.So I want to ask whether he would be Shooter Superstar after the next season begins?

wow we must of drafted the same exact peeps...i have the same probs with those two...im looking in the sgsm and i dont see any file with their playerpkg so i think you just have to find a cyberface for those two...

EDIT: theres like no cyberfaces out for draftees so OleEnglish or whoever we need those missing cyberfaces

Let me know if anyone else has pink heads. I thought I got some sort of face in there for everybody. And to answer somebody's question about why I do not have certain faces like allan ray and Randy Foye is because they were not sent to me. I'm sure they will be released soon though so everyone can use them.

Did you run the draft.bat first? Or are you opening a players.dbf from another save?

It should change the rookies for the upcoming year. It will not affect any rookies on your current team
