Uptempo wrote:Playmakers your first set was pretty good I had to lower the fouls but they played pretty good. I used your lates set lastnight and man what a difference in game flow. I really loved how the game felt so balanced overall. My only problem is at 50 speed it's tough to play 12 minutes like I want. But those are some very good sliders as a second set you produced.
Thanks a lot man.

Just so everyone knows, I am recomending anyone currently using an IJBL slider set, any version, to switch to Brad_feets current sliders. I will only release a version 3 of my sliders if completely necessary, or I work a miracle.

Hi I try these sliders and play 12 min superstar me too.
Decrease speed game at 27...I also decrease the long range shooting for both cpu and user to 36 and increase double-team to 60 fo user and 70 for cpu

I tried to enjoy the game speed below 50 for so long but players just don't move or flow right at lower speeds. I personally feel that even t 50 it still moves kinda slow.

game speed - i am at 11 minute QTRs, game speed 30 and can still score 110 points with only a .440 shooting %. at 55 the game is probably better flowing but what are your scores.
long range shooting - i think you based these on kobe. normal players (guys with 70-80) 3 point ability should be able to make one in three. plus the cpu is hounding you because of the high defensive. i had van excel missing wide open shots left and right.
cpu steal/human steal - i had to lower one and higher the human. the cpu can make pinpoint passes in the lane and i get mine picked off with a 90 rated passer.
I think my main gripe now is the passing. maybe it is my slower game speed but my passes are those stupid ones that are lobbed. even i am cherry picking and get the defensive board the guy will pass high and there is no flow. once in a while i get the nice fast break. but if iam passing around trying to get an oepn three the pass will be so slow/weak that the defender will be able to get out the the shooter.
this games needs two new sliders fo rnext year. 1. interior defense. 2. outside defense.

ijbl wrote:I can't post shot display screens, because I am a PS2 man. But there is something very important about playing defense:
You have to stop the PG penetrating, he will try and drive almost all the time. If you prevent the first drive attempt, the computer wll then tend to pass it about a bit, and set up some offense. Also, try using some of the Playbook selections. The thread where you can find them is stickied in this forum. This sets the game up as more of a sim, and the constant driving is replaced with some offesnive sets. I am using brad feets sliders, I was previously using my own (IJBL version 2.0), and I was forcing the opposition to take midrange and long Js.
Hope that helps a little.
