question here...i have added most of the jerseys i created to the teamgear of 1.1 and it'll be troublesome if i do it again for the next release..is it ok if i just overwrite the new teamgear from the next release with what i have right now?

Its been a year since I played Live 06. I am thinking of re-installing all my NBA Live games. Does this mod have the big head fix?
Thanks Andrew!

- Dynasty Mode Crash -
Hi! I recently installed the complete update (rosters, art,..) and it seemed to be working perfectly until I played a season in Dynasty Mode. The game crashes upon seeing the players' yearly progress, right before starting the second season.
I re-installed both the game and the update but I got the same problem after a year in dynasty mode.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sorry to hear that, that hasn't happened to me in any of the Dynasty Mode tests I've run. Do you get an error message when the game crashes?
Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:36 am
No error. It just suddenly crashes.
Should I have installed v.1.0. first?
Tue Apr 28, 2009 1:02 am
Maybe that's the old dynasty crash bug. Some of our fellow members (including me) used to encounter that.

1.0 is not a requirement of 1.1
haven't encountered that...i'd certainly want to know what causes this so i can fix it if it happens to me...

Definitely not, v1.1 includes everything it needs so no previous version is required.
For the moment I'd try the usual; clear your workingdb and currentdb folders first. If that doesn't work, try copying the default birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf files to the roster save (though I'd already done that before I compiled v1.1).

Is the speech ids upadated and does this mod includes the customised arena music?
Tue Apr 28, 2009 11:56 am
No additional speech or music files are included, sorry.
Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:12 pm
It's alright. I'll just browse the 06 thread and hope that the links are still working especially Tony Divence patches.
@fumanchu
do you still have old Live 06 patches?
Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:21 pm
i'm sorry but i lost all of my patches when my old HD crashed..i'm starting to collect everything again...but i do know someone who has speech...gonna try and ask if he wants to release...
Tue Apr 28, 2009 12:29 pm
That's nice.
Since I started to play 2k9, I deleted all my Live patches which includes the speech id of MJ.

We'll certainly include some custom speech files if we've got them. That's the beauty of the ongoing project.

I am gonna try this release of yours Drew. I just got 06 and looking for some patches and this might be a good start. This project look like the SUM project you have back in 07 which is

. Is the menu art being updated on this? or just the roster?. Just curious

The full package currently contains the roster and required art updates, but the menu art update is available as a seperate download.

if anyone could provide a video tutorial
maybe more people would contribute to the project
sometimes tutorials are not very clear without visual...
Fri May 01, 2009 4:28 pm
Video tutorials aren't always feasible and not necessarily something that can be whipped up very quickly. In any case we're not pointing fingers here, just stating a fact: it's a community project, so it's open to contributions from anyone and everyone who has the time and inclination.

your right
Andrewi should've thought of that first
i've been asking too much lately
hehe sorry sorry

Not at all, it never hurts to improve our resources. I just wanted to clarify we weren't criticising anyone, just reiterating our cause with the NBA Live PC Project.
