Just so you all know, if you're not interested in purely simulating your games - that is, you want to actually play - just get Devin Harris and work on his defense. He's probably the most useful player in the game. Get one three point shooter and one high flyer with high offensive awareness and decent speed.

You just use Harris to steal a bunch of balls and then you keep popping the three or dunking off of the fastbreak... incredibly effective.

My favorite lineup, not necessarily my best:

C - Amare
PF - Okafor
SF - Radmanovic
SG - McGrady
PG - Devin Harris

6 - SG Kenneth Benzer, good shooter, computer generated.

I can barely afford this team, employing six other rookies with 385 k salary. So I might trade Okafor for a rookie who's decent, cheaper and unstack this team a bit. But really, Okafor doesn't make the difference, Harris/Radmanovic do. McGrady/Amare are just there to block shots or pound it in.

Thats a nice line up, with McGrady being a leader. Not sure about Radmanovic getting the starting job at SF, maybe shop around for more of a solid starter than him. Overall I say 5.5/10

My Clippers:
C - Dale Davis
PF - Elton Brand
SF - Corey Maggette
SG - Reggie Miller
PG - Chris Paul

Bench: Shaun Livingston, Marko Jaric, Bobby Simmons, Martel Webster, Chris Wilcox, Chris Kaman, Melvin Ely

It is my first season, my record was 58-24 on superstar and now i am in finals vs. Pistons. After match two it is tied 1-1. Reggie Miller was a great FA signing, he is like 36 ppg.

Trades during the season: Chris Paul for Cutino Mobley
Martel Webster for Quentin Ross and Zeljko Rebraca

My Clippers average 97 ppg. So without Miller its gonna be quite challenging :-) Webster seems to be good backup for him and also i can change the whole system and start to get more use of Elton Brand and Corey Maggette (now they are both around 18 ppg).

Crash, I pity you who has Foyle. ;) You should try to trade him somehow.

Los Angeles Lakers Start of 2007-2008 - Traded like everyone away

Salary Cap: About 13 million below the cap

C: Bosh (88)/Rasmusson (71)*
PF: Caffey (76)*/Oak (67)*
SF: Anthony (89)/Ricci (64)*
SG: J. Johnson (90)
PG: C. Paul (80)/Blain (72)*

* = Drafted

Championships: None

Work in progress. I think I screwed up in some places (it's slightly better than the Jazz lineup), but I still took the Spurs to 7 games in the Conf finals without Carmelo with this lineup (I had Jalen Rose instead).

dunno if anyone is still looking at this post but how about my 08-09 Hornets side? (no fantasy draft, cheating, editing etc)

B Wallace 85 / A Biedrins 77 (96 blk, 94 OR, 93 DR!!) / Messina* 76
C Bosh 93 / Pierce* 74
G Green 85 / Gill* 74

Fantasy Drafted (Computer drafted) Memphis Grizziles

C - Jamal Magloire / Elden Campbell
PF - Troy Murphy / Brandon Bass
SF - Desmond Mason
SG - Jason Richardson(SG/SF) / Voshon Lenard
PG - Mike Bibby / Deron Williams(PG/SG)

some other guys: D.Wagner, J. Hayes, and one other...
Anyone can give some suggestions? cuz I'm thinking of getting a big blocker by trading Desmond Mason, and move either J-Rich or Bass to SF...Can anyone give me some other suggestions on this? :|

Another FD team that i found tired of playing for some reason...
C - Elton Brand / Mehmet Okur
PF - Charlie V / Francisco Elson / Darko Milicic
SF - Andre Iguodala / Gerald Green
SG - Dwayne Wade / Kyle Korver / Rashad McCants
PG - Rager Alston / Yuta Tabuse
D-Wade & Iguodala do exactly the same thing... :? may that be the reason...?
Also found that Francisco Elson is like AK the second

Well, since nobody replied, I attempted to make some changes myself, and here you have, the sort of better lineup...

2008-2009 Memphis Griz FD

C: Jamal Magloire (75), Nenad Krstic (71), Z. Richardson*06 (69)
PF: Troy Murphy (78), Brandon Bass (68), Matt Bonner (68, Shooter)
SF: Jason Richardson (90, HiFlyer), Mo Peterson (76, Shooter) <- Both these guys moved from SG
SG: Deron Williams (80, Passer) T. McCarthy*07(67)
PG: Mike Bibby (84, Passer) K. Leschyshyn*08(66)
IR: H. Ernst*08(63), A. Macijauskas(62, close to shooter)

Prepare to let Krstic take over once Magloire start to decline...
Seems like Bass is bit shoet in terms of PF, so used him half as SF...
Got rid of Jarrett Jack because I thought theres no space for him...til I realized I can move Deron to SG...

Any good suggestions on this? :P
