All that info can be changed in players.dbf. The Players.dbf Editing Guide should help you out.

Thanks Andrew....!!!!! I just wish the NBA LIVE 07 will have a slow game play mode... to even out the score.. to slow down the movement specially the spin & crossover move of each player... thats out of the thread hehehe  ... Thanks DREW.... for the new update again!!!

Is there any reason why Beno Udrih's speed rating is so slow? His rating is 56, he can't be slower then Nesterovic whos speed rating is 58.

An oversight by EA that I haven't caught yet. I'll definitely fix that up.

Ehhh - I just noticed that something is wrong with Gilbert Arenas cyberface - I am not perfectly sure it is because of your roster Andrew, just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this problem. He look rather pale now, in fact he might be Steve Blake :-)

Anybody else had this problem after installing 1.8, or is the problem not related?

It can't be related, nothing the roster patch changes affects the appearance of art files.

I haven't looked it up yet, but is Gerald Green a Highflyer FSS? I mean, his leap and his dunks are amazing, and he throws it down the hard way, even on other players! When he gets an open look at the basket, everybody knows that he is going to come up with something unnatural, as always. Additionally, journalists say that if there won't be any intervention, Gerald Green should definitely be in next year's Slam Dunk Contest. So please consider that, Andrew.

Yes, I checked, and Gerald Green is not a Highflyer FSS. I saw Kirk Snyder is one, and Corey Maggette, as well. I have to admit that both have hoops, but Gerald Green truly has the dunking skills of each of them, and in my opinion even more. Kirk Snyder jumped once over a guy, that was sick... but he does that rarely. And I saw the Clippers at Dallas on April 19th, and Maggette was wide open for the dunk, and he just did some shit, a basic two handed dunk. Green would show everybody what he is able to do, as in the closing seconds of the last two games against Toronto. On March 22nd he finished the game up with an alley-oop throwdown, which wined up number one in the Top 10, and on April 4th with a windmill, number two in the Top 10. On one day he even was three times in the Top 10, and altogether I think more than ten times in the season, just because of his dunks. Against New York on April 9th he slamed it down several times, and one time right upon Jerome James. And I don't remember when, but one time he took of clearly beyond the painted area and slamed it home. Andrew, I really beg you to give him the Highflyer ability. :) :D

EDIT: The alley-oop from March 22nd was #1 in NBA Action that week, but #2 in that day's Top 10.

If Snyder has High Flyer FSS abilities, I've probably overrated him a little bit when I raised his ratings in an earlier update. I'll consider raising Green but I won't promise anything.

By the way, not a huge deal but you could have just edited your previous post and there's no need to bold my name so I'll pay attention to your posts; the whole point of this section is to garner feedback on the rosters, so I will read anything that's posted here. ;)

Actually, he doesn't. Not only has that not been confirmed yet but if he will wear number 24, it won't be until next season. Until such time, I will not be making that change.

I always write names in bold letters. Anyway, some article says that the request has been made by the Lakers on March 3rd and they wait for approval. And I think Gerald Green is one of the top dunkers right now, and it's not just that I like him. He deserves it! :D

OK, OK. Pushing it upon me isn't going to force it to happen. I already said I'd consider it.

And as far as Kobe's number goes, I'm not changing it until it's made official and that's probably not likely to be until next year since the request has to be made six months in advance and March isn't six months ago.

hello, I noticed this one in this new version

- Slider suggestions added

Does this mean that when I load the roster the sliders will now change? If not then how can I use your slider settings?

If I change my slider settings and would want to have a backup, is there a file that I can backup so whenever I want to revert to my old slider settings I could just copy and paste that file?

Thanks!

There's a text file included with the patch containing my sliders (posted in the forum and on the main site) that you can use if you so desire. It doesn't change anything automatically, since to do that I'd have to include the settings file and that would change ALL of your settings...which wouldn't be convenient. ;)

No settings will be changed, as I said the sliders are a text file only. You need to make the changes yourself. The file is settings.dat, it's stored under the My Documents\NBA Live 06\settings folder.

Ehhh - I think there might be a problem with Mike Bibby's dunk pack - I played Sac vs SA, and he threw down a 360 windmill on Tim Duncan!

I can see his dunking is set to 33 which seems reasonable.

I checked his DUNKPACK and tested him in-game, there's no way he should be doing that unless you've got an edited aiact file installed. If that's the case, then it's out of my control.

I will consider it but won't promise that will be my final decision.
