It's probably better that they consolidate the teams somehow. The 90's All-Star roster is embarrassing. I'd hate not to be able to play with Magic, Pistol Pete and Larry though. As long as they're in the game I'm happy.

Perhaps just a couple of mixed All-Time Greats teams or even just the Legends Pool...and of course Custom Teams to create All-Time All-Stars quickly and easily on all platforms.
