I changed the AUTOCOLOR and AUTOCOLOR2 for the Pacers' 2005/2006 home and away jerseys at Cable Guy's suggestion.

Good Day! I am new to this forum and I want to thank everyone for their work. I have a problem. After I first installed the patch update (v1.02 or smth) everything seemed to work fine. I tried to play a one on one jordan vs. barkley and my game closed and it instantly exited to windows. I installed v1.03 (the latest) and i have the same problem. I try to play a game like memphis@lakers (for example) and my game crashes at load time. I dunno what to do, and I dunno why this started happening (is it because that game i tried to play? any problems with those players??) What can I do?

I'll look into it but as far as I know there isn't any issues with the dbf because I'm yet to encounter a crash anywhere. Do you have any graphics updates installed for those teams or players on those teams?

I've preveaously downloaded a roster update from this site but I can't seem to get the new one working???

I've installed it many times but each time the rosters in the game haven't changed a bit. Really annoying when you all seem to figure out the trick

The roster update won't affect a season already in progress, if that's what you're talking about. If you load the roster it will update the default rosters, allowing you to start a new Dynasty/Season/Playoff/Exhibition/All-Star Weekend game with the updated rosters.

i followed ur instruction, but i ended up having this weird problem in my saved dynasty. im using the rockets, and i see serveral mutombo, bowen and etc

Then I'd say you've made a mistake somewhere. If you edit the file with DB Commander you shouldn't have any problems.

No, it will only be brought forward if the trade doesn't happen right away. I'll release it as normal otherwise.

Andrew, I'm sorry if I forgot to mention this, Brevin Knight becomes a Playmaker if you change his Off. Awareness to 81 from 80, I think that's a minimal enough change that it can be done.

I had meant to do that in v1.03. Guess it will be in v1.04.

There's only one little thing that bugs me tho. I think Boris Diaw's ratings are way too low... (I can change them myself so that isn't too big a deal)

Uh...if you'd bothered to read the notes or any of the other posts lately you'd see that my fixes were correcting mistakes that were made in the previous version, where I was restoring issues like that including giving Ben Wallace his Power freestyle back. Please do not tell me not to fix FSS moves, especially when you're reporting an error that no longer exists.

It's a little hard to do that because of the way the gear and teamgear colours work.

yes i installed the cyberfaces and portraits for smush parker, ronnie price, shavlik randolph and maybe a few more...can that be a problem? i tried to modify the players.dbf and appearence.dbf, but i'm no pro. maybe i messed smth up. When I try to start any game in play now the game crashes. what fields must i modify again to insert portraits and cyberfaces? (in the dbf that is...) Maybe you can add portraits and cyberfaces for players that don't have 'em, in future releases? (Especially smush parker ) thanx alot, your work is great andrew !!!

i mention that if i try to simply copy the files in the sgsm folder the game does not see them (prtrts & cybers) that's why i modified the dbf's, after which, the portraits appeared... The weird part is that if i try to individual practice with smush it works, if i try with ronnie price my game crashes dunno (

As I don't make face patches I can only include what is submitted to me. I won't make those changes to the dbf unless I have a face to include as it will cause problems for those who don't have face patches installed for all missing players.

Hey, was playing with the Hawks with your previous rosters, just wondering a couple of things with their roster.

Salim Stoudamire. He's a lefty isn''t he? When I was playing I noticed he's right handed, gives me the irrates.

Also, some player gear is wring, but no probs I can change that myself.......... wrong, not that it has anything to do with your rosters, but for some reason, when i go to edit player and make changes, there's a back button on the left, but no accept changes and exit button on the right.... . so I can't make any gear changes.

So, in the next roster, any chance you could give Salim a team headband, and Childress some kneee high socks. Or advice on how to change this!

I think there are already a bunch of player portraits and cyberfaces available, for the missing players. Here you can find almost all, if not all, of the missing portraits and cyberfaces. ok, i understand... Can you please explain me what i have to modify in the dbf files to have the players with portraits and cybers in the game? I copied some patches in my sgsm folder but the game does not see them. I modified ISCREATED (False) ISGENERATE (False) ISHISTORIC (False) and PLAYERPKG with the according name. (all these in players.dbf) I also modified FACEID to -1 in appearence.dbf , for the accordin APPEARID. What more do i have to do, because it still doesn't work...?

Barh, i don't reallly care about mashburn but i just didn't like him coming off the IR to the starting line-up during the season

That's one of the changes I'd forgotten that occurred to me after the release, probably about two minutes afterwards. Easily fixed though, especially since using Edit Player doesn't reset the Primacy ratings (though I know the specific ones that need to be corrected now). That's going to make the updates without additional created players much, much easier.

There is no commentator audio for Smush Parker, there's nothing that can be done about that.

Yes, like Andrew said, there's nothing that can be done about that. You can't change it.

But when I established real shoe patch 5.0 that its name was said correctly. And now there was a new roster and I did not establish there a patch to that I am afraid of something to spoil.
