IMO, Ben shouldn't have the Power FSS ability.

Unthinkingly I lowered a couple of ratings that resulted in them losing their FSS abilities. It seems I've done that for a couple of other players as well, so I guess another fix is on the way.

Well, what's wrong with that? There's certainly some players with FSS abilitys who are undeserving, and if rating adjustments change that, then so be it, I say. I know with my custom ratings, several players have been stripped of, and given new FSS abilities. We knock EA on everything else as it is; why not add choice of FSS abilities to the list? :D

Cable Guy, I've read it. But what Andrew said was that his rating editing resulted in the loss of FSS abilities, not that he had knocked them out via that method. I don't care to give a guy an ability when his ratings don't say he should have it (even if some of the requirements are a little quirky).

 I just realized how lame the bold looks.

I guess that's your choice then. I made some changes via the .dbf myself according to what I thought was right, but only because I didn't want to boost ratings just for FSS.

Well, that's my main point, really. That instead of boosting ratings for FSS, the player simply doesn't get them, because he doesn't deserve them. What guys did you give FSS to that you didn't want to boost ratings for?

I gave Joe Johnson, Damon Jones and Donyell Marshall Shooter because I felt they were legitimate outside threats, but JJ's not a good enough FT shooter, and DJ and Donyell deserve low FG ratings which takes away the option of letting Live give them FSS. I also gave Dampier Inside Stopper because I think he is, but he shouldn't have the ratings for it (it doesn't make sense, I know).

The other one I forgot was Rip Hamilton, I gave him Outside Scorer, but since he gets open to shoot without the ball, I didn't want to boost his dribble just to give him FSS.

EDIT: I also gave myself all the FSS abilities

I understand where you're coming from, but with most of the players I reduced their ratings a couple of points and it won't hurt to restore them at least in some cases (Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal). I'll at least be reviewing them before making a decision, I'm not going to boost for the sake of boosting but in cases where it's only a one/two point increase I don't consider it a problem especially with star players.

I've reconciled the IDs in v1.02. So long as the files are in the sgsm folder and you've made all the right adjustments it should be fine.

I never disbelieved you, I'm just saying there shouldn't be any problems with the dbf files.

I didnt mean it in a serious way. More of a jokingly attitude, but I guess you cant tell those sorta things by just typing it.....
Anyway, I just noticed that Smush Parker and several others are created players....
When you go to Delete Player, they are all there...well a few, I didnt check how many but yeh.

What does that mean I have to do? Oh and before u say, "Make sure u have v1.02". I have that one, and I downloaded it twice just in case.

Shouldn't be, if their ISCREATED attribute is set to False.

Thanks for the rosters. Excellent job as always. (Y)
Kobe's favorite player talks about Kobe
"I think he does what he has to do," San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili said. "Of course, there's a difference between 35 and 25 shots, but he's got that ability to make every shot. Even if it's in front of two guys he jumps so high on fadeaways it doesn't matter. He's got so many resources, it's easy for him to take 35 shots. If I was his teammate, I wouldn't care."

I look in Appearance and Players dbf files and there are a fair few players with ISCREATED set to true, some have no PlayerPKG, and in Appearance none of their face thing is -1.....

Some of the players in the roster Andrew created and didn't include c-faces for, so those would be the players with ISCREATED - True. Smush should have ISCREATED - False, though.

If no face patch is included in the roster, they remain created players otherwise it'll mess up for anyone who doesn't have a cyberface for that player installed.
