it's great to know that there are people who go the extra mile searching for stuff that could make the game tons better.. great find there, man! this deserves to be stickied.

i dont think using other people setting.dat files work anymore but send it and i will try thanks

I tried that tactic ever since I got Live. Getting someone else's setting doesn't turn on lighting... sadly.

This is the kind of patch the community really needs. No offense to all the great cyberface patchers, but EA already has great face this year. Cyberface patches only add subtle details and maybe a slightly different look. It's not like 2004 where most players look nothing like their real life counterparts. Many wanted a patch where lighting can be applied to the body and jersies but not on the face, and now it has come to reality. Great patch!

really? you replace it with the ones in your dynasty.. cause i just downloaded from the link he gave and went into my game and there was lighting.

jxuusa, u gotta tell me which folder you put the settings.dat in. I replaced the existing one in my settings folder, and it doesn't work.

I've stickied this thread for the time being.. since its such a great patch.

Great patch, I was always in doubt whether to play with lightning on or off, wasn't sure which looked the most realistic.

i copied my old settings and backed em up, then i put the settings.dat i downloaded into the saved dynasty folder as well as the settings folder inside My Documents/NBA Live 06, replaced em both.
