It's not like Andrew was asked to do all these things... It's not like it's his job to keep the site running, it's more like his hobby. He's like the rest of us. He wants to enjoy the game and want to see other people enjoy the game too. I want to play the game and I want to talk to other people who have played the game too.
We are all fans... We give feedback, EA does not ask for it, but they will consider them as we are the fans, the guys who buy the product year-in-year-out. We do what we do for the love of it...
I just played a game of 2005 yesterday that I haven't really played since the game came out in Australia... Been hunting it down ever since. I would love to get my hands on it as I for one am not too worried about the final product. Andrew gave his fair estimate and I think we are along the same lines with this one. If he'll like the game, I'll probably enjoy it too.
We are the fans... EA could employ the moderator of this board, it has happened before with Tim Tschriner (can't remember how to spell that last name, as it's a total biatch to remember), but he used to be the webmaster of NLSC and he's now working for EA as a producer on the NBA Live series.
To get Andrew to work with EA is all about EA and if he really would want to work with them. If this board became something that EA would "own" the board could lose some of it's edge as it would no longer be a fan site, but a "kiss EA ass" site from there on in (it would add alot more scepticism about the reviews and stuff released on the web page, and would that limit what we could post here too, probably so)...
Anyway, I'm getting off track... Andrew is the webmaster and moderator and his association with EA is his own business. As of today, the sight is not affiliated with EA by any means.
