I hate the flashing court bug, the minimum reqs are misleading, if i had eppilepsy i'd be sueing!!!

Some of the AI is a bit off, but i still think its more natural than last year, so im not gonna complain..

I think they've gone too far with the "we'll stop them dunking every time down the court by magically moving a player at the speed of light into position so they have to adjust their shot"
E.G. Ive been about 3 steps ahead of a defender on a fast break with JR Smith and the bastards still catch me, make me do the stupid fling over the head move, no foul called and i miss the shot... that pisses me off.

my laptop has the fucking flashy thingy on the court, but someone else said that udjusting your settings gets around it, so try that

as for AI, god it pissed me off alot today!!! the SG fucking walks up the court, which really shits me, and when a ball comes off the backboard, or is blocked, your team members just leave it there, and the opposition runs after it!!!

as for fast breaks, hooo wee i was about to hit my comp when i kept getting chased down...

OH, and my MAJOR gripe against Live 06 (even more annoying than the flashing court!) is the "out of bounds off the backboard" crap, its worse than last year, the cpu just has to stand under the rim and 9/10 your baseline move will fail coz of the adjusted shot animations taking you the complete OPPOSITE way to what you'd actually do IRL....

I dont mind that it goes to adjusted shot animations, it just bugs me they couldnt consider "if "x" player is "z" close to baseline use "y" animation not "screw you over for no reason" animation!

I find that when you go for a dunk about 80% of the time they do that stupid adjusted shot and get fouled
This makes it hard to do awesome dunks
Also, when you go for a superstar dunk thingy, you almost always get blocked!

can you imagine if you could constantly use the highflyer dunk? itd be insanely easy

i hate how the User adjusted shots rarely go in, but for the CPU they go in 75% of the time, I mean the CPU has had a few 4 point plays already

Also, heres a bug...too many halfcourt CPU shots made

Ben Wallace averages 11.4rpg......and yet he's not in the Top 20 for DRPG, he'd need just 7.5RPG to make it.

False Buzzer Beater

Tried twice, both are my man grabs the rebound under the basket (and the whistle was blew), then I press the dunk/layup button, the ball goes in and the ref count the basket...

I saw the exact same issue from one of the full game video in other thread(the Heat VS Spurs one)

3-second violation of CPU team

although it's not a bug actually.

CPU finally makes this kind of turnovers but it seems that it's too many.
I tried one game that the opponent did this for 4 or 5 times...

After reading all these bugs thing, i'm thinking of maybe just sticking to 2005 for another year. Unless the PS2 version is better than the PC version, i might as well stick with my 2005 Heat Dynasty.

The Save Stats button is missing as is the ability to switch between ratings and game stats in the Subs screen but those are oversights more than bugs.

Howcome they fuck up when they fixed that last year with the patch. The same thing with the shorts. Did they like forgot about it?!? These guys are retarded! They shouldn't be allowed to add new features before they fix all the bugs from last year's game.

This has been said before by someone a long time ago: EA keeps taking out the thing that are necessary and the thing that work and just replace them with acardish stuff.

im getting a configure controller bug....where i will set my direct pass to button 7 and superstar to button 5, but everytime i go to play its switched around.
Then i set it to the opposite of what i want and it stayed the same.

That controller thing might be the same issue as I had in Live 05 - until I figured out that the Dunk Contest controls and the game controls are linked, even though they are on separate setup screens. So if you change your dunk contest controls after you have set up the ingame controls, some of the ingame stuff will be switched around as well.

thanks, it worked....i went to the dunk contest controls and changed them to what i wanted the gameplay controls to be, and now it works fine.

Replays? How the heck can I get replays on non-superstar plays and cpu plays? I know this ain't a bug (i don't think) but I can't find the damn option.

Also on PC, how do I assign the 'box out' function? I know i press right analog down for back down, but for box out on defense etc?

Yo, jus wanna say that a lot of players get the wrong names called. I played a few online games (PC) and Tony Parker=Jason Kid/Avery Johnson; Shawn Marion=Adonal foyle; Lol. It was like the whole spurs/suns roster was jacked up by the commentators. They even called out people like Lou Alcindor.

Yea, and in post game wrap ups a players on paper that scores 37 points is quoted as scoring 47.....

Little glitches like this take away from the professional feel of a game :-\

Here are a few things that I find a bit annoying.
- Players sometimes step outside of the line and no call is made.
- Players getting called for offensive foul when the defensive player is within the 6ft circle.
- Shots clearly made after the buzzer, can still be counted as good.
- Also what several people have said already, the wrong names being said during online mode.
It's clear that they shouldn't have pushed for such an early release date. What they could do now though is come out with an official patch..

I know, but I thought they used to be on the same button (L1 on PS2), don't know how to box out now?. And you didn't answer the question anyway. What about replays? How do I get regular replays, not just for myteams superstar plays?

make sure that your controller is set to the right option, such as 'generic' or watever style you use.

my style is called ps2 (made it like ps2 controls) and before every game, i have to make sure its set to the right style. just get in the habit of that and youll be fine

Or just delete the other controller configurations in ...\My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\configs and ...\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 06\interface\configs so it'll use your own by default. It should work, atleast it did in '05.
