What a load of electronical rubbish. I can't believe I actually spent time downloading this clip, I still held hope for Live 06 but dead set ... the moves look horrible, there's no fluid movement at all and half of the moves don't even look like things that people do. And THIS is what they've been pushing in every single interview known to man? I'll reserve my final judgement until I actually play the game, but for the first time I'm going to hire this game... there's no way I'm straight up buying it like every other time. Disappointing.

I haven't seen any sort of defensive resistance outside of shot blocking and stealing. How come you don't get pushed back if you get bumped by a defender while trying to blow by him? Everyone seems to do whatever they want. I am not talking about the scorer videos, I am talking about those nets vs warriors and other such gameplay videos.

I'm not sure..but but I think we got a glimpse of the new Pacers away jersey..just watch the video and you should see Jermaine at one point we a jersey that is not a retro...so it should be the new one...

For the rest, I think they did a good job with motion capture..I like the behind the back drible by Kobe.

But I still want to see if they fixed the block issue from 2005. That ruined the entire gameplay last year....

you guys have to think about a few things...

#1 - u cant say the moves will be unstoppable and expect to see defense in videos demonstating the offensive moves. kobe with the behind the back and the lay up BEN WALLACE WITH THE BLOCK on him... that'd be LAME.

#2 - as far as the gameplay vids, i dont think J-Rob from IGN has had enough time to actually master all the freestyle moves (or come close to that) and also isnt playin on a hard difficulty on the vids.. combine those two things and thats why we are gettin what we are gettin

#3 - once the next superstar info comes out, which i assume is defensive stopper, all of you will see all of the ways to counter the offensive moves.

#4 - last.. and not least... hey dont forget guys.. some players really ARE unstoppable in the NBA. T-Mac, Kobe, Dirk to name a few.... thats just how it is folks. i for one wouldnt want it so they couldnt play like themselves and werent capable of taking over a game.. maybe thats just me

i agree...i mean there has to be some way to contain those players.... but i dont want to see kobe gettin stopped at the rim by some bum center after doin some ill moves.
everyteam has matchup advantages and some players are better then others. superstars lets u exploit that both on the defensive and offensive end.
i think once the difficulty gets bumped up the game will be the best thing since nba 2k3

I wouldn't want them capable of taking over a game every game. These guys can have bad nights, and I'd like to see them have cold streaks every now and then.

Edit: I just saw the videos, and my god, these moves are fucking ridiculous. Who the hell does these fancy moves in the game? Can't they just stick to the fundamentals? Why do I have to see Iverson pulling up for a one legged jumper when he could do the exact same with two legs, which looks about 10X more realistic?

He does it sometimes. But once in a rare while. Garnett is one of the few players in the league with more dunks than layups (no idea where I got that from, but one of the others is Shaq).

I have to check the video out. I can see there are a lot of moves to choose from. I just hope these moves don't make players completely unstoppable (Kobe's fadeaway is not automatic). I can't wait to try these out with Iverson, though.

Talking a little bit about the 3 PSP2 videos, is it just me or did I see way too much blocks in the first video hahaha and the way Nash looses the ball at the end of the video is funny.

Concering the scorer video, I have to say Kobe has some sweet moves but KG not slamming the ball in any of those 3 circunstances is kinda alarming to say the least.

for 1 that lay-ups are better in a way if yout hink bout it an stop talkin how many dunks do you see in a game most are fast breaks am i right. an KG does slam but if ya being held by some1 and ya that far away from the goal and cant dunk then you shot duh.

and the 1 legged shot by A.I. i have seen some shots like that before so thats not a real big trip off of situation.

plus you jump higher off of 1 foot an seeing that he is 6'0 anf only weighs 160-165 he would want to jump higher to get his shot off or that lil double pump he did in the video.

plus no one wants there shot throwed to the crowd or down court especially superstars

an i think the moves and the passes an shots are nice because thats what superstars do in the games there top players.

they listed every friggin type of shot u can take on the preview. if u dont want iverson to shoot a runner just F'in shoot a regular ass jumpshot. the point is you have the options.
i think its very realistic. just cuz iverson rarely shoots a runner in real life doesnt mean he doesnt have the ability to do so. he just doesnt need to because his speed lets him create space off the dribble. so if you dont want to shoot a runner with AI then just PRESS THE SHOOT BUTTON!! if you dont want KG to do a layup then just PRESS THE DUNK BUTTON and stop bein ungrateful bitches. be greatful that the game is making advancements like this and will continue to get better in the future. they are innovating and trying new things. 5 years ago yall probably never even thought you would have these kinds of options. and the people on here complaining are the same fools that go and dish out 50 dollars on the first day it comes out. you may not like the game but guess wat EA gettin PAID regardless

Take a look at some NBA photos and you wont find players shooting J's in the paint. If this was a long range shot i'd be concerned but in the paint legs fly everywhere. You dont have to be balanced to hit a shot.

True, but Iverson jumped straight up with one leg. It'd make sense if he was driving down the lane then having to fade away or go off balance. But in the video, after doing a couple crossovers, he jumped straight up with one fucking leg. Who the hell does that shit?

Btw, that up chuck shot by Dirk was retarded beyond recognition. The game should be changed to NBA Live Retards 2006.
