Great cover, I really like it. But here in Spain we will have the Calderón, Pau or stupid Fran Vazquez. This sucks !!!

It will be Calderón my dear Cervantes cause Fran rennounced to play in NBA this year. And he's not stupid, he's a little lento cause he's demasiado alto and what he thinks tarda too much en llegar to his tongue.

I like Wade, I think he'll be a better player than Lebron James one day. But they really should have use"KID CANADA" himself Steve Nash to be on the cover this year. I think he really proved to everyone that he is the best point guard in the league today bar-none. Kidd, Francis and the rest don't match Nash's ability.

i disagree on that one. nash is a very good pure point guard, and he is definatly better than all-egos steve franchise-killer and marbury. he's definatly not better than kidd though, kidd's defense is top notch while nash's one of the worst defending pg's in the nba.

When your Canadian, you don't have to play defense!!!! Your offense does all the talking!!! Nash has also proved that he is one of the smartest basketball players in the game. He make the right decisions and gets everyone involved. Amare said once that Nash keeps everyone happy and is very creative which makes it enjoyable to play with him. If your happy playing, you'll win. Just ask Vince Carter, unhappy in Toronto and always losing, now he's in Jersey and he's happy and they went on that winning streak at the end of the year to make the playoffs. Kidd is also one of my favorites. But again I have to go with KID CANADA Steve Nash!!! THE MVP of the NBA!! Respect for Nash!!

I actually like the cover a lot. Definitely a big improvement over previous years, imo.

In any case, historically speaking the cover need not necessarily serve as an indication of the quality of the game. NBA Live 99 was quite popular, though its cover (featuring Antoine Walker) was not.

Just used to people gamecube bashing for no reason...you know post something gamecube related and suddenly people keep flaming for no reason..good thing that people were mature enough not to do that. phew.

The last gamecube incident wasn't even flaming. You just took it personally for some reason, maybe you work for them. Who knows.

Which part? I think the stadium is cool, but the brick curves (just noticed that) on the top is pretty bad. I see they're trying to make repetition with the curves, but that was uncessary (in design theory, we call it, "bookends" and that's usually a no-no) Wade would actually look more powerful if he wasn't "contained" in those brick enclosures.

Yeah the thing at the top is awful, whatever that is behind him doesn't look all that bad but they definitely could've done better with the background. I like the actual picture of Wade though.
