wow they took my idea of pro hop but it will be availible to pro hop not only straight/left but for exmpl. back/left?
what with freestyle it is again so unsensitive (you need to see all animation than let analog to neutral position -then nove analog again ) ?
you can move from freestyle in any direction (not only left ,right) ?
what with auto turning is it there again?
what with control post player is it again so stupid imposible to control
freestyle moves in the post?
can you make fadeway?
is there again auto jumping when you are outside of the board?
there is possible to passs from layup animation?

Guys great site you got here. Never visted before. I get these google emails everytime maddennation.com is linked and you guys came up because of this thread. Anyways I'm fred, one of the guys who runs MN.

Those who ever visited Maddennation know that we aren't just madden site. We have branches of the site such as MVPnation.net, NBALiveNation, FightNIghtNation and a couple of other ea sports games. Anyways like Kaef mentioned we were at EA not for Live but for madden. we got to play live since they had it setup.

Those who have visited know we dont kiss EA's ass in the forums when it comes to games. We are very critical of games like NCAA and Madden. Go read my impressions of madden 06 and you'll find i point out the bad thing in the games. Alot of people come to us for "real" reviews of games. Not the garbage you read on IGN and Gamespot. So when i wrote my impressions of Live I tried to do the same thing. I drilled the producer of the game at EA with questions. He told me he could tell I play Live since i was pointing out gripes regular media doesnt ask.

Anyways just thought i'd register and clear some stuff up for those questioning my reviews and why a madden site was playing nba live. That was for NBALiveNation.com not MaddenNation.com

im surprised he hasnt found the site already. He's on every message board known to man it seems.

Some tiny tidbits get some of my interest, but I still remain a pessimist.

-blocks are gone. in the games I had there weren't any PGs with like 6 blocks. Or anything out of the ordinary. in the game i had with rac i had a total of 3 blocks. and most were by Duncan.

-fast breaks are in the game work. I noticed this right away, players will cut to the basket for alley opps. If you are a running a two on 1 and pass it, the player will catch it on the run and continue running to the basket.

-you can rebound now after missing a shot. Last year players would go into some weird animation after missing a shot. Same goes with getting bumped in the post and losing the ball. They fixed that issue as well.

-pro hop to the left or right now. The past 2 years when you pro-hopped you could only do it straight. If someone was infront of you, you'd bump into him and lost the ball. Now if you see someone trying to take a charge just hop to the left or right of him. I did this with Paker and he hopped to the right, but what was cool about it was the animation it did was just like he did in real life. Then he floated a tear drop layup and scored.

-teams play like they do in real life. Teams like the Suns and Mavs run and gun. Teams like the Spurs and Pistons play move of a half court offense.

I don't think it'll be half as bad as I expected it to be, some of the minor things that annoyed me a bit look like they are gone.
