There can be no doubt... Josh Smith.

He of all managed to grace and recreate the atmosphere of the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk contest. His style and personality fits the cover just right, Dominique is reborn, and his name is Josh Smith!

Nuff said, Flix

Funny how one person mentioned Steve Nash. He should be on the cover there is no one as good as Nash that wants to give up the ball.
Vote Nash for MVP!!!

what about *drums* ben wallace? :D that would be one bulked-up cover...it would be so bulked up, that they'd be able to fit in 4 CD's finally

Wed May 04, 2005 8:55 am

I want Shawn Bradley on my cover cause he is the coolest balla eva!

Wed May 04, 2005 9:10 am

I hope to see Manu Ginobili or for the first time the big three of the Spurs together. Maybe all three for the states and Manu alone in some regions. That would be a first and Duncan would grace the cover for the second time(especially if the Spurs win it all)

Wed May 04, 2005 10:17 am

Dwyane Wade, LBJ or Larry Hughes

galvatron3000, Duncan was on the cover of NBA Live 2000.
Xclusivewiteboy7, Allen Iverson is(/was) with SEGA's 2k series.
miamiheat3, Tracy was with NBA Starting Five few years back.
I don't think EA will go with someone that has been contracted with some other brand lately, although they did do that with Vince in 2004, so I suppose it's a possibility.

I would like to see Nash on the cover; he's been doing absolutely great this season, and is one of the best players in the NBA right now. I also agree with what Goldberg said earlier.
