I came up with some other ideas...let me know what u think

21. Different timeouts...( full, 30sec ) Where the timeouts would really matter...u have 30 sec to change plays, defence, players get some more stamina..but only for 30 sec.
22. Hear some more boos for a bad play and more cheers for a good play

I think that arguing calls should happen...rarely though. It would all depend on the players attitude. If they have an attitude and are having a bad game...then they're bound to argue calls...

does the call ever get changed in MVP after it is argued? if it does, then that is ridiculous because that never happens in any professional sport...Refs always stick with their call after they make it, even if they know they are wrong afterwards..

No, the call isn't changed but it can increase a player's stamina afterword so it's not all that useless.

I would really like EA to bring back the custom team option!

Ironic it`s becouse ideas like this we dont get realistic basketball.These guys just make me mad. Option to argue a call, like someone said this things get old pretty fast.

That idea, while "realistic", isn't that important. Focus should be more on the game itself such as fixing the crappy offensive rebounding, dyansty mode, and others. No one cares about the mopboys when clearly the game still has a lot of obvious improvements that should be done.

I would like to quit seeing the BIG NBA LIVE STAR flash on screen during the free throws. How about the Ref run to the ball and check it to the player like players do in the 1on1 or even a player go get it and throw it to a Ref. Then have some extra commentary about one of the players and not the same thing over and over and over like ex. "blah blah wade wasn't known for shooting 3's at marquette" and have the players slapping handsin between shots like you see in every game.

Thats not really anything big to put in the game and theres probably 1,000 things I can think of thats better like better voices most of them sound nerdy "im up two, yure down two dewd!"

Regarding the Arguing a call option, maybe EA could implement it such that when you argue a call, then you increase the likelihood of getting the next ambiguous call to go your way. I mean, you often hear about this during games, like Mike Fratello might have explained: "Now, the referees aren't going to change the call when you argue it, so why bother? So the next time there's a similar situation, you can get the call you want."

Of course, the balance would be it also increases the likelihood of picking up a technical. I mean, it'd be nice to be able to argue a call with some kind of consequence that makes sense. Arguing a call once or twice may give you an advantage, but do it too often, then you risk getting a tech.

Regardless, I think the absolute most important thing that needs to be adjusted is the pacing. Most teams in the league take their shots in with 12-7 seconds left on the clock. Even the earliest shots you take is at like 20 seconds, and that happens very rarely, even for the Suns. And when you increase the time for each possession, then you limit the number of possessions, which leads to realistic scores (based on the current league average of like 98 points a game), and fewer turnovers, fewer blocks (along with this, the shooting defense model has to be revamped, so you can makes stops without making blocks), fewer steals, etc, etc.

About the argue call thing. . .I think Eugene made awesome points about it and plus wouldn't it be more realistic to actually get a tech every once in a while. I was thinking and thought about the whole technical thing, how I think players never get them. I think whenever a player gets a foul called he disagrees with on game he might say a little something to the ref, thus more foul calls more arguing leading up to a bad attitude for player and a technical. I also would like maybe stuff like halftime coach talk thing, have a player's confidence level or something. So you would have to try and boost at half. Also, off court problems, like infractions liek there is in the ncaa games. Say a player doesn't come to practice or drug tested, so gives you mreo work off-court to try and get them straight and stuff with re-hab, suspension, etc. . . . . . Just my opinion

So long as technicals weren't random they'd be a fine addition. But as it is the NBA won't allow EA Sports to include them in the game.
