I could post some more screens, but why tease all of you when I'm not even sure how i'm gonna get ratings?

what teams do u need ratings 4 and are u gonna use CH2K7 or MM07 it doesnt matter to me cuz i can get both of them for u

Thanks but I had that excel file already, what I need are the specific skill ratings, not just the overall ratings.

Ok....seriously now this is just an idea. Why not just put the mod out with arbitrary ratings....For the meantime and add the exact ratings/rosters or whatever later. Because at the rate its going the project will be completed. I mean think about...I think many of the people who will use this mod will probably edit ratings to their own liking anyway. Also there arent that many teams to manually edit anyway in the mod. So give it some thought cklitsie......PLEASE

been trying to supply us with good Ncaa Mods for years now if memory serves me right So I am anxious to get my hands on it but at the same time just offering a suggestion as an alternative...but respect whatever he wants to do.....but damn I want that patch its your best one Cklitsie. Respect man

This idea sounds one of desperation?
This Mod as professionally done as it is, would end up being trash with some half ass guess the ratings roster. Game play is the heart and soul of any mod, without proper ratings it just becomes eye candy……..Which would end up having no replay value.
Releasing something like that, would be downgrading all of Ck's hard work.

CK should wait for someone to come through with the ratings from one of the two games, or have a team of knowledgeable fellows to do two teams apiece (as I suggested in the past) or get the ratings from Dirtdog's 2005 roster; and just use those teams that are included from that mod?

Also there arent that many teams to manually edit anyway in the mod.

45 teams = 600+ guys.
Manually editing this many players full ratings is no walk in the park.

You can just holler at me online, cklitsie's aim is 'cklitsie 88' or just make a file with the rosters for all the teams on the first page of this thread, then post that.

Right....... ...Maybe you didnt understand suggestion. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion...and im not an argue over the internet type of guy....so we'll see what happens

I hardly think this is the place to post this...

Okay I just got an email from dukeysam and he wanted me to share it to everyone.

I have voulenteered to do ratings for this mod.

However, there are 45 teams. believe it or not, each team takes about an hour to do. If i do 6 a week, the mod will not be ready until the start of the big dance.



so PLEASE help me out and post 1 team's ratings. I will do the rest and incorporate it into the .dbf file.



if it is easier, put all of the info in an excel spreadsheet and send them to me at dukey sam @gmail.com. I CANNOT DO THIS ALONE AND EXPECT TO HAVE THE MOD READY IN REASONABLE TIME.

dukeysam, you're the friggin' man! I'll try to get as many people as possible to do one team (or more) as well.

I'll post here what teams I've managed to get, when I get them. Could you please send me the Arizona ratings?

btw it is ALABAMA i did, sorry about that...
when i talked to hammertime last night i told him that I could put the ratings into the .dbf file, however if you could do that for me things would go a TON faster.

you see there are two steps. first i transfer the ratings (manually) to an excell spreadsheet, then i move them from there to the .dbf file. Complicated, but i wanted to make sure i got them right...
if you are willinig to put them in the .dbf file, then I estimate that i could get all of the ratings to you in much less time. If we work together on this we could have it out before march...
what do you think?

I have not messed around with rosters for Live 2006 all that much. Pretty much have never even created a custom player.
But I did tinker with Live 2005 rosters and ratings for a few months, when the game first come out.

Question: Does 2006 have the same "bug" I will call it this; even though some didn't consider it one.
-After you input the ratings manually using a .dbf editor or excel, do you still have to go back into the game and change a rating and thensave in order for the game to re-calculate the numbers for the edited player?????
In 2005 this was the case, even though you edited the players numbers, until you did this, his ratings would stay at 50, and he would continue to play as so, until this in-game change was made.

Just giving you guys a heads up.................And i hope this is still not the case
