Von Wafer can jump out of the building. Kobe is lobbying for him to join the dunk contest. I hope his jumping and dunk rating goes up.
Also, Sasha Vujacic has improved in his defense and shooting. The guy locked down Earl boykins for christ sakes.
Lastly, i think you already know this but, Andrew Bynum is a beast on the defensive end and if i recall correctly, he leads the league in blocks per 48 mins.

TJ Ford should have a much higher dunk rating he already displayed his dunking abilty this season. Also Jamal Magloir should be a indside stoper he is doing amazing on defense.

Noted.

Sure TJ ford can dunk, but when he does its usually in a wide open space. He cant jam over people, he barely gets over the rim. So yeah he sure can jump, and dunk...but he doesnt hammer them down at all.

Good news...looks like I probably won't have to delay the rosters again. Can't set that in stone but got a fair amount done tonight, might be able to get a bit more done before I turn in for the night. That should give me enough time to polish everything up by Sunday night. Remember, if the rosters do come out this Sunday, it's most likely going to be sometime in the evening (forum time).

Remember when the Bucks played the Clipers Magloir went for the hook and missed and TJ came swooping in for the put back jam over Kaman[7 feet tall].

I'd rather not delay it more than I have to...but that'd be a rather small change so I could probably release a smaller, transactions only update if need be. We'll see.

So will I have to update my players.dbf for your new update? Like for smush and people like that who didn't have their playerpkg, iscreated stuff filled out in the last roster.
Thu Dec 15, 2005 2:04 am
You should decrease Dwayne Wade's 3PT rating and increase Andrés Nocioni's, I think.
Right now Wade is shooting 2-26 3s (.077%) and players with nearly the same 3PT rating (Nocioni - 45%, 9th in the L) are doing much better in that field.

That's correct.

I will be taking a look at a lot of ratings including Rip Hamilton. Thanks for the input.
Thu Dec 15, 2005 12:29 pm
charlie bell should have alot of higher ratings such as fg, 3pt, steals, def awarness and lots of others
Thu Dec 15, 2005 3:42 pm
Josh Davis' number in the Bucks is #5, not #23.
Thu Dec 15, 2005 5:07 pm
Shavlik Randolph should have higher rebounding ratings.
Vs bucks 14 min 3 Orebs 4 Drebs 7 total rebounds
Vs Twolves 8 min 3Orebs 1Drebs 4 total rebounds
Vs Hawks 15 min 7Orebs 5Drebs 12 total rebounds
yeah that was only 3 games but he hasnt played much and is gaining minutes in philly. His orebs should go up at least, currently only a 35.

hinrich primary position pg
Sat Dec 17, 2005 4:07 am
Isn't Hinrich starting at the 2 now, while Duhon operates as the primary point guard?

Hey Andrew,
First of all I want to say that your first roster update was amazing and I can't wait til the second. There are a few ratings that I was wondering if you could change.
Jose Calderon: He is shooting his free throws at 87.5% and I think that his ratings deserve to be raised in this catagory. He is also averaging 6.2 assists per game in just 29 minutes. I think that his assists also should be raised.
Chris Bosh: This man is having a breakout season and scoring 22 points and pulling down 10 boards. I think his inside scoring should go up as well as his field goals. His rebounding I think should go up a bit more as well....specifically offensive rebounding.
Andre Iguodala: Like a lot of people have already said his field goal and 3 point ratings should be boosted quite a bit. He's shooting about 50% from the field and nearly 40% from downtown.
Channing Frye: You should definately boost this guys ratings. He's scoring 15 points in 29 minutes. THats absolutely insane for a rook. He's shooting the ball at 52.2% from downtown which I think warrants a raise in his field goal rating.
Nate Robinson: This guys having a breakout season as well and I think that he should get a raise in vertical (which is the highest in the league) and also 3 point shooting rating. He's shooting 42.4% from downtown.
Rip Hamilton: I think that this guy is one of the most under rated players in the game. He's shooting 50% from the field and 47% from downtown. I think that both of these ratings should be raised. I think that he's also a lot faster then the game puts him at which is why I think his speed should be raised. He runs the floor like a mad man.
TJ Ford: He's having a breakout year not only in scoring but in assists. I think that his passing, offensive awareness, fg, and 3 pt fg ratings should all be raised. I think that overall compared to the other point guards he should at least be one of the top 7. Maybe if you could you should also make him a playmaker.
Elton Brand: This guy is having an MVP type season. He is shooting the ball insanely well (54% from the field) and he is also pulling down 3.5 offensive boards per game. i think that these stats mean that his ratings in both of these catagories should be increased.
Darius Miles: He's finally beginning to become the player that so many people thought he would coming out of high school. His field goal ratings in the game should go waaay up because he's shooting 48% fromt the field. Also I think that his speed and vertical ratings should go up in the game as well. This guy is a freak of an athlete.
Keep up the good work man, I'm sure the next update will be insane

Nate robinson is having a break out season?... he averages 8-3-2.... i assume you thought he would average 2-1-1?
On the other hand i saw Frye play vs Milwaukee....he has range around 18 feet id say. He can really shoot the ball. (or at least in that game)
and yeah, i believe Hinrich is playing SG these days with Duhon the PG. Duhon has started all 20 games.
Sat Dec 17, 2005 6:16 am
Yes, Hinirch starts SG, Duhon PG

8-3-2 are dam good stats for a rookie only playing 18 minutes, he's also shooting 42% from downtown
