CLASSIC TEAMS 2 RELEASED 9/9/06 *Fixed Link 12/06*

i was wondering if i could use drews, v1.8 rosters while haing ya mod already installed, or tony divence, 97/98 roster set, currently ill i have is your mod, and few small patches, sweat patch etc, no cyber's, no courts, uniforms nothing like that, but if i install them would that overwrite urs or will it make it crash not sure?

This has to be one of the best patches for live EVER!! Great job guys!

I'm not sure..I dont have any other mods installed.The classic teams shouldnt be overwritten by any other rosters unless theyre using the same names for the courts or players.hope that helps

I corrected some of the players ratings who did't have any and that were too high.
some jersey numbers fixed also

The update is awesome!! One problem though, the game crashes when I try to play with the 96 Bulls at the United Center. I can play with them as long as they are the away team.

Crashing seems to happen when you have many mods installed into your sgsm folder.Other than classic teams what else do you have installed in your sgsm?

just some jerseys updates, and some cyberfaces. I just recentley reinstalled the game, and I haven't put that many things back in it

This patch is awesome,,everything is well detailed... You can really feel nostalgia playing those classic teams...Definitely patch of the year. I just hope somebody can fix the problem with some crashes when playing some teams aside from cleaning up your sgsm folder from other patches...

yah some people have issues just with united center..from the first patch.


here's the ea default united center. let me know if it works joncy.

just put in in your sgsm folder.Might not look as good but it might solve your problem....hope this helps

If you have tnt mod the game will probably crash.It kind of sucks because i really like that patch but i'm not really sure whats causing it.your best bet is having 2 sgsm folders. one with the default files and a few things in there and another one with all your patches.just rename them when u want to play.


I just did a test on my system. I had all the team courts, conrads jerseys,seraphs shoe patches, and several cyberfaces plus my patch and i didnt experience any crashes.So i cant really explain why it crashes on some systems and not on others.

hey Notorious B.A.Y.A.G. thanks for the file. just tried a game with the 96 Bulls at home, and it worked fine. great patch!! Any plans to do anymore teams?

mine crashes also unless i put environment detail setting to low, but i don't mind since i also don't want to bother figuring out and removing which patch is causing the problem.

I especially like the 98 Lakers, 2002 Kings, 92 Bulls, 91 Warriors, and 99 Spurs.

I'm gonna say that this is definitely patch of the year.

Edit: No way, you also included the 97/98 Lakers retro jersey that they wore for the NBA's 50th Anniversary! Props for that right there.

I havent had any crashes. But this is about the only thing I have installed. I backed up the rest even know I probly wont be playing with my 06-07 stuff anymore since 07 is out in a couple weeks.

Thanks guys..I'm glad you liked it.As far as patch of the year i'd have to disagree.That Nt teams(Danet) and and NBL Live by Jrud were really high quality.I'm not really into National teams or Aussie basketball but their work is really good.I might have to hit up one of those guys if I decide to do anything like this for 07.


Anyway, I created a John Starks Cf a while back thinking I was going to do a 94 Knicks team.When I saw that all the art could be extracted from the Live 00 demo...I decided on doing the 99 Knicks Instead.

that js, is spot on man, good job, as for the crashing, i experimented few times, but said the hell with it, dont feel like installing all that stuff, did a fresh install and things were kool, anyway this mod is good man, did a grea tjob, love seeing montana in back on the hoop on th elakers court, so is it possible to run a regular season with these teams, i know not the (dynasty) or is it all just play now, also adding cyberfaces if you i dont see nun in the sgsm folder so is it safe to say when first installing, can you add faces like jordan etc... if ya have them?

96 Bulls STILL won't work.

What's wrong with his face?..lol Glen sent that in from his missing legends addon. A correct headshape for tim is hard to find..so I think it's good enough.
