Thanks for the note, I'll check them out.

FYI: The rosters won't be released today as originally planned, as the regular season is almost at a close, the playoff rosters will be set on the 20th and the Playoffs begin on the 22nd. Therefore, rather than releasing two updates I've decided to go with one playoff-ready update on the 21st. That will also give me time to take in more suggestions.

Hey,Andrew, some ratings of Kwame Brown is overrated. His speed is 70 and quickness is 74.It's amazing.and that of Dirk is only 66 and 70.Nocioni is only 62 and 56.Chris Bosh is 70 and 70.

I'm sure I already lowered them at someone's request but I'll take another look.

you might want to up Earl Watson's 3pt rating, he's been nailing them down since his move to the sonics, especially recently...

I'll definitely consider that, 64 does seem a bit low.

Hey Andrew, some missing players need skin color changes.

Josh Powell 3
James Singleton 3
Smush Parker 4
Robert Whaley 4
Eddie Basden 2
Martynas Andriuskevicius 1
Shavlik Randolph 1
Alan Anderson 2
Kevin Burleson 4
Gerald Fitch 2
Devin Green 3
Charlie Bell 3
Andre Owens 2
Noel Felix 3
Melvin Sanders 4

Maybe boost Ben Gordon's 3s up to like 87. It doesn't happen everyday when someone shoots 9 3s in a row.

Boniface N'Dongs last name is spelled as Ndong.
Rather than "Andriuskevici" I think it should be "Andriskevcius" because that looks a lot more like the name "Andriuskevicius".

Thanks for the notes. Good idea on Andriuskevicius...it's a shame the database won't allow a name that long in the first place.

Hey Andrew,
I know this one is a bit touchy but I have been playing a franchise with the Bulls and for some reason, Duhon seems to never go for lay-ups but rather, tries to 2 hand dunk the ball often. Could it be his dunk rating is too high?

As I said, I've heard some possible issues with players dunking/not dunking enough and ratings so do whatever, but I just thought I'd tell you what I see happening.

Also, I think this is from 1.06. So, maybe it's been addressed already. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for all you do!

I'm pretty sure I addressed that, I know I changed his DUNKPACK so he would occasionally attempt a dunk but it shouldn't be happening frequently.

Hi Andrew,

"Andriuskevicius" full name can be added to the dbf file & work properly.

Just edit the "NAME" column width (player.dbf) by MS Excel & replace the player name to "Andriuskevicius". Then save the file by MS Excel & re-open the file by DB Commander. Make a little change to player.dbf & save again (post edit). That will have the full name "Martynas Andriuskevicius" is on roster list.

That's the kind of editing (both using MS Excel and circumventing the field limit) that corrupts databases very easily. I'd rather not do that.

Cant wait Andrew!!! Except now I will have to restart my dynasty, lol, I'm kind of OCD like that. Anyways, what are your plans for future updates? Probably some rerates after the playoffs, then after the draft. Do you do all of the rooks and things? Who rates them all? Thats gotta be a lot of work. I'm a first year NLSCer so I'm not sure how you go about all of this. Keep up the good work my assuie friend!

I take it one update at a time, so I haven't thought too much about the updates following the initial playoff update. I'll have to see what happens as far as injuries, lineup changes and whatnot.

i just installed 1.07, it seems like brand's shooting range is still at 13ft, could you look into it again? it should be around 15-18 i think... most of his 25ppg this year do come from those midrange jumpers...

and qross' d. awareness could be upped a bit more to 7x, while cassell's should be brought down..

thanks :)

I did increase it to 18 feet in v1.07, so it must have been recalculated by the game. Nothing I can do about that.

I think Jason Collins' Defensive Awareness needs a big boost. He's an all-around terrible player, but the Nets make him a starter because of his defense. In both defensive +/- and PER allowed, he's one of the best. I think he should be given a rating similar to other good defensive centers in the game, maybe around 80.

Andrew, I don't know if you've been thinking about this recently or at all about your roster updates, but I think that you might be able to handle the stuff about the superstar requests with this thread:

http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic29848.php

You won't then need to change the ratings for guys to become superstars. I recall you posting in that thread that you might in the future. Thanks for listening. (Y)

Andrew,Gilbert Areans's 3pt is a bit too low.He shot 197 out of 533 this season, not a high shooting percentage, the reason is that he's got some problems that he dont know to shoot the 3pt in proper. He should in the same level as Ben Gordon.

Zach Randolph and Darius Miles are wearing headbands. Nate McMillian doesn't allow headbands at this point...so they don't actualyl wear them in games.

they're benched cuz they think they know more than nate and they dont, cuz nate knows his stuff, and they just announced publicly that both of them have told the front office and nate that they want out of portland.
