Most likely before then. I'll have a couple of updates close together since I'll need to do a pre-All-Star Weekend update with the new All-Star lineups.

Thu Feb 02, 2006 12:17 pm

I've got more for you Andrew

Chris Bosh is a lot quicker then most forwards in the NBA, I think it should be in the mid 70's. Mo Pete is the fastest player on the Raptors, I think Quickness low 70's and Speed high 70's or even low 80's would be good.

No worries, noted. (Y)

Hi, Andrew,I am new here.I really like your rosterpatch. It's a great work.
And I have some suggestions about it,hope you could have a look at it.These are all my personal point.
Paul Pierce, his strenth should be lifted a little, compared to Camelo Anthony,as they are all low post sf , PP should be strong as CA15.He is shorter than Camelo, but more heavier. His pass also should be a little higher. He is a very skillful player. And perhaps you could tune down his fg.He is really an tough and powerful weapon on offensive side, hard to stop and get a lot of freethrow, who now is limited by Doc's tactics.
Justin Reed ,his deffensive aware should be higher.
Earl Boykins, his fg and 3p is too low, when he go to the court from bench,he can get double digit score for a lot of times, but in game,no matter he is controlled by computer or people, that rarely happens.
Earl Watson, who puzzeled me since nbalive2005, he has amazing vertical height,he can dunk very easily, and once blocked Bradley, who is 7'7".So I think his jump rating shouldn't be only 44.
Rasheed Wallace is overrated, now he is a deffensive player more than a offensive weapon in real life.Even when he participate in offense,he usually get points through jump shooting. And his off reb is too high,in game he grabs tons of off reb, while he gets 1.3 off rebs in real life.
Mike Dunleavy is overrated, his fg and 3p is too high.
T-mac,his def aware is overated, I have seen a lot of rockets games,if you know where I come from,he always waiting for a def rebound or something like that, rarely stick to his opponent. He isn't a responsible deffensive player. But his strength is too low,I think perhaps should be aroud 55,he could sometimes battles in the lowpost, though he is only about 95kg.
Yao Ming is also a little bit of overrated. His rating of strength, off & def rebs, block is too high.He often loose deffesive rebounds which you could alway notice in real life.
Dwayne Wade, his fg is little bit of too high, may be 80 is proper.
Bobby Simmon, his shooting rating should be higher, may be 70,heres his stats fg 3p ft, 44.3% 39.5% 82.4%.
Raja Bell ,performs exellent from down town, his 3p should be around 70 ,I suggest.
James Jones, I am confused why his fg is only 51,I think 60 may be is ok.
Also,I think Marion should be sf and Diaw is pf,because Marion moves faster, can shoot 3p,often deffense sf such as CA,LBJ,etc.
Melmet Okur, his 3p is too low,
Ak47 ,his fg is too high, he isn't a scorer,he is just a super-multi player.

These are my suggestion, you have the rights to refuse to take, but I hope you could read it at least.
Again ,thank you for your great rosterpatch.

Hi andrew

you have rated Fred Jons dunk 88 but he hasn't got high flyer freestyle

Ithink he can have this

Thanks

Sat Feb 04, 2006 8:06 am

Most likely a couple of other ratings have knocked him off. I'll check into that.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:00 am

Can you take a look at Artests 3pt and speed ratings?

65 is a little slow for a guy who can run the 2 as well.

72-75 would be best, and his 3pt is in the 30s if I'm not mistaken. 60 would be a little better. I also think his steal should be lowered one or two points (not enough to take away the superstar, but just 1 or two points).

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:02 am

Certainly, no problem.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:37 am

Another thing about Artest, I noticed he's average size in the game, but in real life he's pretty big, you may want to change his body type.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:45 am

I'll look into that as well. I'll see how the next bodytype up looks, it might be a bit too bulky.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:45 am

Not for Artest :P

Sat Feb 04, 2006 10:46 am

Perhaps. Anyway, I'll see what I can do.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 11:24 am

I got some decent movies of artest when we played against the nuggets... Unfortunately my camera was being a bitch in the first half and I missed BOTH of kevin martin's alley hoops.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 12:40 pm

Alright, since I'm a Nuggets fan, I'd like to see some of these changes:

-K-Mart's overall to 78, the guy hasn't played good basketball at all. He might have improved a lil bit in January, but 78-79 is good for him
-Anthony should be 86-87 overall. He is in top 10 scoring, and really became a good player after Karl took over.
-DerMarr shouldn't be 69, maybe 64-65, he is sitting out a lotta games.
-Najera's rebounding should be higher, thats his job to rebound
-Linas Kleiza is 9th man. Definatey can be in the low 60's in overall
-Voshon Lenard below 60, he plays so bad now, Kar doesn't even let him play.
-Watson's 3's up a lil bit, maybe around 72!

Sat Feb 04, 2006 12:47 pm

I don't change overall ratings just to make them look better. Sorry.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 1:23 pm

Andrew, C.Mobley rebounds ratings r too low dude.. he had career high month ago i think like 13 rebounds he has a good position under the basket usually. 14 offensive, 38 def rebounds.. no way.. and he have 38 at pass.. wah.. its too low as well i think i've seen few games where he played as point guard.. and he has some nice passing.. he should get at least upon 50++

and E.Brand.. has " 1 " at the 3 point ratings.. he has 80 FG.. he cant have such a low rating at the 3 point .. at least 40.. i think..

Sorry, I don't boost players simply for a few good performances. I'll take a look at his ratings but I have to look at the season as a whole.

Elton Brand, 40 for three point shooting? That's ridiculous! He's 0/1 for three pointers the whole year, he hasn't hit a three pointer his whole career. FG and 3PT are independent of one another. Elton Brand can absolutely have a low 3PT rating and a high FG rating. I won't be making that change for him or any of the other big men who shoot well and score a lot of points but don't have three point range. That's just silly.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 1:49 pm

Only cuz Brand took 1 shot this year and missed it doesnt say he have to get the lowest 3 point % ! 1 from 3 point its almost not possible.. any chance u get his 3 point ratings from college? maybe from there u will get better observation, cuz it wasnt necessary for him to throw 3 point in the season... or maybe check his last year percentage

wow... you totally didn't read his post and you totally don't know the difference between college and the NBA

1) Brand has never hit a 3pt shot in the NBA.

2) A 3pt shot in college is a Mid range jumped in the NBA.

His three point percentage last year was 0%, the year last was 0% and it was also 0% the year before that. To cut a long story short, he's never hit a three in the NBA and he doesn't attempt many at all. He does not warrant a rating of 40 which is enough to make him a mild three point threat in the game.

Sat Feb 04, 2006 4:04 pm

if the college three was the NBA three, most big men would be sharp shooters, lol.
