not really because the jerseys in 08 are in 256 resolution and for 06 the jerseys must be 512 resolution if you import a jersey from 08 to 06 the apperance of the jersey in the game will be blurred and one more you must make new numbers!

Regarding commentators/announcers speeches, we can make new sound files by mixing the default speeches, say, for example...

Maybe someone can do that? I think I can, but I don't have Live 06...

That's a lot of sound editing and mixing for just one player. That doesn't include yet the extraction and importing of the sound file.

It's alot of work for one player, and it's hard to get the sounds to mix right. Maybe we can just snatch these from 09 on the PS2 or Xbox.

I think all the new progress should be under one thread since the community can then split up the work so that some people are not working on the same things such as jerseys. Or that each thread should have a Clear-cut title so that we know who's doing what so that ppl don't overlap each other

P.s. I've encountered the "last minute of the quarter lag problem" does anyone still have the solution patch for it since the ones i've searched for in this site are all disabled since it's been awhile, thanks

i think its better this way. having different patchers to have their own thread where they can post their work and get comments regarding their own work.

believe me, i used to work on a mod where all progress where in one single thread. hell, it was very confusing.

The only fix that I remember for that one was a different video card driver.

I was wrong. It was a patched or different scoreboard. Maybe the one from 2005 will fix the problem, they are virtually identical, and I never heard of that issue in 2005 so maybe that will fix it.

Hey Andrew are you or anyone with experience is gonna collect all the 2006 updates and make a program that will install all the best patches at once so that it's truly a MOD and not just an individual updates?

BTW I was playing Live 06 last nite for like 3 hrs and by far it was the best time i've been play LIVE for awhile. The CPU made great and smart substitutions for the opposing team such as substituting whoever was tired, using a 9-man rotation and the CPU actually played their players in their 2ndary positions (Posey is listed as a SF but was brought off the bench and played SG while Scalabrine was used as a SF who is normally listed as a PF so that Boston had a Big defensive squad on the floor) and the star players got their touches while the ball was being passed around (no more one pass-shoot bug or Fast-break bug right after you score) If somehow we can make the game look like LIVE 08 graphic-wise, the game would be perfect IMO

Take a screenshot of 08, then take the same lighting file & graphics files and convert it over to 06. I am pretty sure you won't notice any difference in graphics so that part is done.

Yes, the point is that once everything's done it will be compiled as a complete update mod.
