Opening Night Roster (Andrew's v1.17) - Coming soon!

I'm still confused on the shoe patch. I downloaded and followed all the instructions for the above v.5 real shoe patch on 1st page except for the "launch by40" part which i have no clue what by40 is. Anybody that can help me?

BY40 is roster file. Just load it first.

still got some pink shoes....dunno

I also loaded the BY40.. it's another roster.. not remix's.

Why would I load that roster? It doesn't have any of the new updates?

There are no pink shoes on the BY40, but no updates.

I notice that after loading this roster, then followed by loading any other roster, the patch then works.

Yes, don't load that roster, you don't even need to install it. Just follow the instructions in the shoe patch, but load my roster instead of BY40.

What I did wrong was, I didn't take the shoes out of the SGSM folder... I just moved the whole folder into the my NBALive/sgsm..

Take the files out and move them!

I'll start converting Andrew's roster at the start of the season (30th October), as soon as he releases it, it should take a week or maybe a bit more.

Yeah, it happens in my game too, I don't know what causes that. I'll try to fix it, and if I can't, I'll simply remove his mask.

I know this is probably really easy...but I still can't get the shoes to work.

I downloaded:

Remix's Roster Update (thanks by the way!)

v5 Shoes Update

Sgsm update

What I did:

Dragged 0708 roster file into saves folder

Dragged sgsm folder into nba live 06 folder

(rosters worked fine)

Dragged real shoe patch 5.0 into nba live 06 folder (did not work)

Dragged Shoes part and Players part folders into sgsm folder (did not work)

Also extracted files from player parts and shoe parts to nba live 06 folder (did not work)

I read the above and it said to take files out of sgsm folder. Can somebody just say what files go where for the shoes v.5? Totally confused

These are the instructions in the readme of the shoe patch, you just got to follow them, except that you skip the 5th part (you load my rosters instead of BY40)

had a little trouble but just had to get files out of player part and shoes part into sgsm folder.

well enjoy your game..I'm glad to know I'm not the only one playing 06..let's just wait for ReMix to finish his updated roster..

also glad that many still play 06...i still find it better than the new releases coz of gameplay bugs...hope someone make new cyberfaces for the players...some of my players dont look like the real ones..like delonte west who's bald right now (bibby like) and on my game he's still the curly player...

This is not really a problem, because the cyberfaces from 07 and 08 are compatible with 06!
