There are a few free agents, for example Dan Langhi, who got red faces, too!

It probably has something to do with retro rosters. Have you downloaded any of those?

Andrew, I did some looking while I re-installed c0nr4d's jerseys and found that both Milwaukee and New Jersey have alternate jersey files, but no .dbf entry. I'm thinking EA made them and then was told that those teams are no longer wearing the jerseys. I'm going to dig out my Live 05 and get .dbf lines for them, I'll post them here for you.

EDIT: Interesting, there's no .dbf line for Milwaukee in 05 either. I don't have 04, can you check it, Andrew? This is the New Jersey line, you can add it to the teamgear.dbf in your next update.

*Note to anyone who has Seraph's red NJ jersey: if you didn't know about this ^^, you would have replaced the original EA files for the grey jersey with the files for Seraph's red jersey, as both have the same name.

EDIT2: Everytime I try to play with NJ's jersey, it crashes. I'll keep looking into it.

hey andrew, i am a relatively new member of the site and i am a huge fan of nba live 06. i think you do an excellent job of updating rosters. in fact i have been waiting the past 5 hours on the computer for the next one, which you said would be out today. i would really like to know what time approximately you plan on releasing it because it is night here where i live and if you are going to wait till later i will just go do something else. thanx

From the Release Date thread:

A couple of notes regarding the release dates:

• The dates are approximate guesses and are subject to change at any time.
• If there's no date posted, I haven't decided on one yet.
• When a date has been posted, it means the update is expected to be out sometime on that day. Not as soon as the clock ticks over, not necessarily in the morning or in the evening. I anticipate releasing it at some point during the specified day.
• Likewise, rough guesses such as "after the draft" should not be interpreted as "immediately after the draft has finished" or "the day immediately after the draft".
• My life does not revolve around the roster patches, I maintain them in my free time so I might not always be able to maintain a regular pattern with the updates, and sometimes may be forced to postpone updates. While I'd like to keep them consistent, quite often it comes down to when I have the time and energy and whether an update is urgently needed (ie serious bugs in a release).
• After releasing an update, I don't immediately make plans for the next one. In most cases I probably won't offer a release date for the next version for at least a couple of days after the current version is released.
• Pestering me about the next release won't make me post it any earlier, so please don't. This has gone on long enough, refusal to acknowledge this request is grounds for banning; appeals will be welcome.

As I have said many, many, many, many, many times: I do not answer that question anymore; sorry. I am not a patchmaking robot who is awake 24/7 slaving away on roster patches because that's all I ever do - far from it. As the notes say, it should be out sometime on the expected release date, when it is finished and when I have had the time to do so because I have other things in my life that demand attention, too.
