05-06 roster updated for 07-08 (transactions only)

Hello community,

I wanted to share my 07-08 rosters for NBA live 06

Here is what I have done...

Started with EA default 05-06 rosters

Update team transactions
Update depth charts
update player positions
update jersey numbers
update shoes

Here is what I have NOT done...

create players (no new players after 05-06 season)
re-rate players
update stats
update coaches
update salaries

This is a nice roster to play current season with and it works fine in franchise mode. However due to some teams having minimum 8 man rosters, the computer will sign free agents to fill roster. If you don't like that, just sign free agents yourself to fill roster, then start franchise.

Free agent pool is huge about 200 players available

This might also be a good base for a roster guru to start with

roster is current as of 3-25-08

@ goedy just extract the file and put the folder to your My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\Saves..load the rosters...that's it...

Aloha to all the Ballas...

My computer went down and I am in the process of re-building, so I will try to get an update done by 2-25-08. Then I will put roster file back up for v2.0 which will include all transactions since 1-1-08. Any one that needs it e-mailed be patient and I will e-mail v2.0 after it's done. I am glad to see some interest in my roster...it makes me feel special.

if i ONLY want to use ur latest roster with nothing else, should i just replace my "player.dbf" with yours?

Not sure on that...

I do all my roster editing in game so I don't know a lot about game programing. Maybe try it and see what happens, I just extract /copy folder to My Documents/NBA Live 06/Saves and load in game. There is also a slightly tweaked update on the depth charts I have re-posted at top.

Hi walton32 i just wanted to say that i have download your roster patch and i think that this is the best roster for NBA Live 06. It is very accurate and i really like that you didn't change players ratings, because other roosters have changed ratings and for me it's very funny when i see that most of the players have rating around 95, it is ridiculous.
I just wanna say to you that you did a huge job because i know how much time did you loose doing that.
Now, i wanna ask you something, can you recommend me some other patches for NBA Live 2006 that you use or you know that they are good?

Aloha ballas,

I am at work checking on the thread and I see some new reponses. To mihael... thankx for the props on my roster , the only patches I haved used on 06 is the net, ball, crowd updates as well as the TNT patches (scoreboard, overlay, transition). Currently I am not using any patches (except my roster update) since I had to re-install windows and start fresh.

I do have a new update available v3.0 which has updates since 2-25-08 I will post at top when I get home tonight. I can also e-mail most current roster out as well (dieseldust & mark).
