Sorry, I do not agree with any of those suggestions. I will not be making them in v1.08.

I do not make cyberface or portrait patches, so I will not be adding one for Smush Parker unless someone submits one for use with the rosters.

I will look into the corrections for the skintone and gear.

As I said in the Mike James thread, yes, I will consider the suggestions for his ratings but can't guarantee huge boosts, since quite often they're requested when they're not appropriate.

Thanks for the input and offer Cable Guy, only problem is I need the cyberface as well else he'll have the portrait but a pink head.

Any specific changes for Bonner? I've taken a look at him before but he does fly under the radar so his ratings probably could stand to be improved.

I think there's a way to make the portrait work sans a cyberface, but I haven't tried it personally yet. When you change the .dbf, don't change FACEID and the portrait should work with the player still having a created face.

As for Bonner, his shooting ratings could probably be improved; other than that, he's the hustle type of player so I'm not sure which ratings reflect that.

Thanks for the tip, I haven't tried that either. Thing is, I'm sure most people would prefer a face to a portrait so I'd rather add both. I'll gladly use your Smush portrait though, if I can get a face.

mike james is no mediocre player.

Hes not a guy like brevin knight or al harrington who gets his points from the fact that he is on a bad team, hes a very talented player.

Last year when he was traded to the rockets, bob sura was out with an injury, so mike james started for 12-15 games and got to play most of the game. Even with tmac and yao ming around, he averaged 20 ppg for his first several games and then his average went to about 18ppg for the remainder of the games he started, then they decided to cut his minutes when sura comes back and bring him off the bench and his scoring average goes to about 12-13ppg.

He has proven himself that when given a chance this man is one of the better pg's in the nba. He is a top scorer. I believe his scoring ratings should be VERY similar to sam cassell's. He is one of those guys who can go off for 30+ to 40+ pts on any given night, and hes done that on several occasions.

There is one difference between mediocre players on a bad team or good players on a bad team, and that is the ability to not only consistently perform at a high level, but to bring it to that next level on any given night. That is something brevin knight or al harrington have yet to accomplish. It is something that mike james HAS accomplished, on many occasions.

It frustrates me when people say hes only a mediocre player, people just havent been paying attention to him. I believe he is likely the most underrated point guard in the nba at this point in the game, though other canditates like jason terry are on my list.

Jason Terry i feel is basically the same player as mike james only he shoots the 3 a bit better, yet mike james' rating is significantly lower than terry's.

Mike james needs to be brought up to the level that he shows in real life. He should be getting the stats he gets in real life in a symmed dynasty. If these rosters, which i very much appreciate you doing, are for realism, then mike james should be realistically represented.

Agreed, Mike James needs a boost in his ratings - no question. Andrew already said he'll take a look at him.

But, you know, I don't like the idea of boosting him too much. He's playing a great season but I'd wait to see and watch his development. Guys like Cassell have proven their entire career what great PG they are. So in my opinion it wouldn't be fair to raise his ratings that much only because of one good year...

As I said, I will look at them. But I do not agree that he should be given a huge boost since that would put him up around the Steve Nash level - where he doesn't belong - and I strongly disagree that my choice not to would be unrealistic. I'll take a look at his ratings but I'm not promising any huge boost. If need be, I'll increase his ratings so that he can achieve as accurate stats as possible and be able to perform as realistically as possible in the game; no more, no less.

Well...I don't like to boost players because a five game stretch. There's perhaps a couple of ratings that could come up but I don't like getting stuck changing ratings back and forth with every update as a player goes on a hot or cold streak. I believe someone has suggested Bell before though so I will check him out. But I can't guarantee I'll change his ratings.

Right now, that's realistic in your opinion only. Again, provide some statistical evidence if you want any chance of me considering your suggestions, because I've looked at the ratings you've suggested, what they currently are in the rosters and the player's stats and they are not really realistic or necessary changes. If I've missed something, by all means point it out but without evidence your argument that not using your suggestions makes for an unrealistic roster doesn't carry much weight.

Since you have yet to provide that evidence, for now I can only assume you have none and thus are trying to bully me into using your suggestions by insulting my work, which I do not appreciate and will not give in to either.

I saw Baron Davis dunks and Khryapa and Smush dunks. Maybe Baron was slamdunk partisipant, but now he doesn't jump so high.
Monia play SG-SF position. You think in NBA Live 2006 player with dribble rating 32 can be used on SG position?

I understand, that 1000 kobe's fga is not the same that 200 tony allen's, but if I play the game, I want to achive stats, that even a little looks like real nba game stats. When I saw game between Indiana and Detroit and saw that Danny Granger shoot 3pt with almoust 50%, I want him to shot 35-40% in NBA live season, but with 3pt rating 55 his persentage about 20%. This is my epinion, but if you''ll not include this changes in next patch, i'll understand you. Thanks.

Fair enough call on Monia, I missed that one. The others I'll consider, but only the ones you've mentioned there. I can't guarantee they'll be exactly what you want but if they need to be raised, I'll raise them. I'm not raising Smush's dunk rating again at this point. The others I might consider but again, I'm not completely sold on them so I can't guarantee I'll change them.
