Live 06 Bug List

I'm just going to make this topic, so there won't be a lot of topics made about bugs(because we all know that EA has a bunch of them). Just post the bugs that u find in the game and maybe some1 will help u with it!

PS. Does any1 know if Lenard gonna be in the starting 5 this year, or is he on the bench?

I find that when you go for a dunk about 80% of the time they do that stupid adjusted shot and get fouled
This makes it hard to do awesome dunks
Also, when you go for a superstar dunk thingy, you almost always get blocked!

thats kinda good news to me. prevents massive cheesing online.

In Multi-Player games the names are all messed up.

If you score after the buzzer has gone the ref still indicates that the points are good half the time, even though they are not, they dont get added to the score but the points are good animation plays.

when someone defends can they still push you out of bounds and no fouls are called?

Probably but I hate those bumping style of defense.

I haven't noticed any major bugs yet. The Save Stats button is missing as is the ability to switch between ratings and game stats in the Subs screen but those are oversights more than bugs.

the shorts bug i posted about not that is matters in gameplay though...

theres also the foot-through-the-floor bug

When i play basketball, my foot goes through the floor... the problem is i'm playing on mud...


I havent noticed many bugs, just the annoying one like the FA signings one. Does anyone know how to .dbf edit the asking price? or should i just assign them to teams instead?

Have you guys had the bug where the CPU player will dribble into the key, generally under the basket, and just stand there dribbling, then maybe shoot without being called for 3 in the key

yeh, but only once or twice

a weird bug ive found is like magnetism.

the player youre controlling on your team can get stuck to an oppositon player, running along with them for a while without being able to change direction
its only happened twice to me, and wasnt a hassle, but yeh...

Yeah, players get 'stuck' every now and then. But yeah, fitzy, I've had that 2 or 3 times now. I've had pg's dribble slowly down the middle, wide open, and just continue right out of bounds, with no defense????? grrr.

Shot selection at the end of the game..... (Dalambert should not be shooting a 3 with 10 to go, down by 2).

If the cpu is ahead at the end of the game, and you give them a fast break, or open court, they won't take it! I know you want to hold the ball up, but not if you're up by 3, 24 left and can get an easy dunk/layup.

Also, I think it's too easy to get a charge on the cpu if they're on a fast break.... I know, I know, sliders.

And inbounds plays by the cpu are dumb. If you pressure the inbounds with hands up, they don't adapt, just throw it into your hands like last year.

so u cant save stats in 06 yet?

I've had my pf set a screen under the rim, but stay in that position long after i get the ball on teh other side of the court.

my only real complaint in rebounding. Offensive rebounding is ridiculous....Me and the CPU combined for 46 OR's today, nearly more than Defensive rebounds.

The sliders really need to improve, i mean they have no effect basically.

Really? On the substitution screen? As far as I can tell that button is missing again this year.

About the bumping style of defense? Is it still there this year? that was probably the single most annoying thing in last year's game.

Players can still get bumped but it's not like last year.

put off boards at 0-10, def at 90-100

mine are at:
Off: 10
Def: 90
but right now, ben wallace has like 50 off, is not in top 20 for def, but leads league in boards...
