No problem, if that doesn't work try the old method of copying birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf from originaldb.

It didn't work. Where should I paste the birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf?

In the roster save folder. Then load it, and start a new Dynasty.

doven - are you sure you're using my roster? I'm pretty sure I've featured original birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf files in the package and before releasing I simmed a few seasons in dynasty without any crashes.

Well, except you've created a few players and assigned custom birthtown and birthstate for them.

nah...just replace the birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf of your save folder like Andrew said...take the those files from C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 06\database\Origdb

paste in into My Documents\NBA LIVE 06\saves\[whatever you named your file] and overwrite....

Lastly go into your game and load....LOAD your rosters....

As Axtacy said, just replace birthtown.dbf and birthstate.dbf files with the original ones. He explained well how to do it.

But the funny thing is that Sun Yue is in my roster, so I don't know why you created him once again.

And for future reference, whenever you create new players, you should save the rosters and restore the original birthstate.dbf and birthtown.dbf files to avoid any issues.

Hi, I've installed your patch and it's the best. Pardon me if you think that I wasn't reading your earlier posts regarding your new updates. I want to know the way to create soundpacks, like for Luis Scola and Kelenna Azubuike. Thanks in advance.

Here you can find the info about creating a speech ID.

speech ID for Scola is 1045 if I remember correctly, it doesn't work with 07, but with 06 it does.

Well, first of all, nothing of the things I have in my sgsm are made by me. That's why I don't want to release that.

Secondly, my sgsm size is large, because I have many other patches installed to my Live 06. I don't have time for things like sorting files and selecting those that will be needed to get rid of all pink faces. And my Internet is not very fast, so it would upload forever.

And as far as I can remember, bleachfan has released a sgsm pack some time ago. You can search for it.

Are you sure you copied all files that were in the saved folder before you did the reformat?

yup I'm sure spree. i just copied the whole nba 06 file in my docs. tried to look around and i think i saw the problem. i think it is the players.dbf file. it is down to 470+ kb from your 850+ kb file size. any way to fix this?

Rather not. It seems like there's a totally different file and when you put the file from my roster, you will lose all season data...

That would also explain why body colors don't match, probably ID numbers in players.dbf and appearance.dbf are different (and if they're the same, then the database is somehow screwed up).
