live 06: Does EA sports online still work? (PC)

Is the online mode still supported by EA sports??

Every time i try to login it says "We are experiancing technical difficulties, try again later. If problem persists contact support"

Does it work for any one else? Or do I have to buy 08 (PC) to play online? I have TW06 which still works online.

Any answers apreciated as this is bugging me and cant find out from EA's website wheter they have stopped supporting online play.

It's my understanding that support for EASO in NBA Live 06 has been discontinued.

Ok thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking as much but had hope it might still be open like TW06.

Guess I'll have to get 08 for my online PC BB needs then, should be cheap now days I guess.

the only version for 08 that has the EASO enabled is the digital download version off EA Link. The DVD version does not have it.
