Retro/Alternative/Fantasy Rosters ?

Hello guys ! I know the gameplay and the visual of the game is by far the most important but retro and alternative rosters are also very enjoyable don't you think ? I know it's not the priority of the NBA Live PC Project's staff but I can contribute by contacting all the rosters' patchers and ask them if they want to be part of the project (by improving or just reuploading or give their permission to include their patches to the project).

TONY D : 84/85, 91/92, 95/96, 96/97, 97/98 (+ modifications of tony's to make 98/99 & 99/00 by me)

By Me : 2056/57 rosters (with Sushi Bryant, the grand son of Kobe, leading the Las Vegas Oilers to the Conan O'Bryan trophy)<=not so sure about this last project...

I'd rather focus on the current update for now as the retro updates are a huge task themselves but it's something to keep in mind.

Bayag is converting his stuff over for the live pc project and i am sure if any body wanna to covert there they would said by now.

How 'bout a roster where players are based according to their class and ability?

Like, there could be two teams filled with the superstars, one team full of hustling Mark-Madsen white guys, one filled with the fat guys...etc, etc. I'll stop before I start annoying people with unfair stereotyping.

yes sir..i'll be releasing some classic teams for this project.I'll probably release a 6 team playable preview of what to expect in the next week.Ill be working with daddie9 this year.He'll be producing retro arenas that will be included when everything is complete.

I think i did over 30 teams for '07.Let's see how many i can finish.

I would love for all the retro patchers to contribute something to this.Glen,2klakers.Tony Divence all contribute quality work.

How can I convert rosters from 07 to 06 ? Not the art, just the save folder. I tried to choose a roster working in 06 like andrew's roster and replaced his players.dbf and appearance.dbf by the ones from a 07 roster but the game crashes when i load it...

Is there a tuto or something ? I'm sure it's not that big of a deal but i can't find wher's the problem...

BTW, 05 roster to 06 would also be awesome (maybe it's the same procedure?), this would give us a larger panel of patchers to contact so they can contribute!

a lot of free time to go into work with the dbf tool all years have diffrent dbfs so you have to go line per line but the info for the correct spot. If you wana do something you can gather retro shoes that we could need. That people have made or you make your own.
