dynasty crashed right at the start of dynasty

I'm just in my first year, and supposedly first game in my Spurs Dynasty. Just finished signing staff, training players, etc. When I am about to sim my first game, against Denver, i heard the PDA beep and everything stopped.

I just alt-tab to Windows and here's the CODE BASE ERROR

When I clicked "OK", here's a new one:

When I clicked "OK" again, it all disappeared.

I used the updated roster of Andrew, ReMix. No other patches loaded (newbie).
I created a player and modified rating of some team starters, that's all.

System: Windows XP 512MB RAM Intel 945GMA 128MB graphics.

It went well with default rosters. Hope anyone can help? Thanks.
