Court Flicker

Whenever I play in the "Play Now" mode, my entire court has a flicker to it, it is very annoying. Will installing court patches fix this? It doesnt happen in dynasty mode or season mode or any other mode for that matter. every once in a while there will be a logo that flickers, but never the whole court. What is up with this??

Sounds like a classic display driver problem. Are you using the latest drivers for your card?

Are your cards explicitly mentioned in the minimum requirements for Live?

i'm not sure its a intel extreme garphics one, if that helps ar all

I tried to play Live on one of those Intel integrated graphics boards once - didn't even run acceptably at the absolutely lowest settings. Definitely not in EA's recommendations - maybe you could get a cheap card on Newegg or something.

auctally it runs ok even on the mid setings

no it doesn't, the court flickers. igp's aren't made to play games.

lilben777, I'm sorry to say- but threatlockz is right. If you have flickering, the game isn't running 'ok'.
I'm not one to tell people to spend money if they don't have to- but you have to to get rid of the flickering. Even a GEForce 2 should do the trick, maybe 40-50ish bucks? Not sure.
The only thing that is odd is that it only happens in play now mode. Why would that be, threatlockz?

good question. did you already install some patches? do all the courts flicker? what if you use the same team for Play Now as for dynasty, does it flicker? might be one particular court...

For me, the entire court only flickers in play now mode, but it is random. It doesnt happen every time. Usually I can restart the game 4 or 5 times and have a un-flickered court. But in Dynasty/Playoff/Season/1 on1/Practice mode, the entire court NEVER flickers, but the logos on the court usually do. It does it regaurdless of what patches I have, court patches included.

i got this problem, lower your detail settings like crowd details, try updating your vcard drivers, turn off dual monitor if you are using it and upgrade memory.
